Loved their desert offerings!

Worst service I’ve experienced. Food was mediocre, service was awful. The trainee talked to our table more than the actual server. Will not be back.

The worst experience i’ve had at this restaurant. Our server does not need to be training AT ALL she personally did not do a single table touch. her trainee did all the hard labor. If i could i would give this service and food a zero. the food tasted bland i asked for medium and got rare, the chips were hella hard and had no salt. the potato wedges had a weird after taste to them and also tasted like nothing. the server asked us at the beginning of the service if checks were separate and we said yes. She then proceeded to take 35 minutes to give us our checks and when she brought the checks we were still missing 4 checks. our table also order a strawberry milkshake and we got sent 2 vanilla milkshake after repeating that it was strawberry NOT vanilla. As someone who works in the industry this was the worst service i’ve ever received she couldn’t even come to the table and apologize. we were watching her talk to other people and hug while we were continuing to sit and wait for our checks to be delivered. she didn’t put automatic gratuity which we were thankful for because I refuse to tip for a service this bad. I can not believe this establishment allowed her to train other people when she’s barely able to serve a party table herself.

My waiter was absolutely incredible, and as you can see, the food put a big smile on my face. It was my first time at Pearls... and my first time trying oysters, too!

Great place. Had the Shrimp and Grits. It was great. Service was attentive and the overall experience was very good. Prices were in line. Give it a try.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but this time I felt severely undervalued as a repeat customer. It took 10 minutes to be ACKNOWLEDGED at the almost-empty bar.

Watching her tend to the other customers and maybe do some daily cleanup after. Just for her to tell me happy hour ends in 10 minutes when I was here 20 minutes prior is a punch in the face. And 10 is a rough estimate. I even started a timer after I started to feel uncomfortable. It didn’t help that her oyster shucker was on his phone right in front of me either. No decorum.

I spoke to the manager, but that didn’t begin to feel like a genuine conversation. I planned to spend more money given that I love oysters but today I actually lost my appetite.

I know how tiring the service industry can be. And faking an inviting smile takes energy. But receiving nothing is worse.
I may not fit the description to be dining at your establishment, but my money definitely does.

I wasn’t irate with any of them just super respectful and SUPER disappointed. Embarrassed even.

Im glad Karma doesn’t discriminate like people do.

Im glad the gentleman that sat down after me was greeted promptly though. Someone deserves to be valued. Even if it isn’t me.

Service was great! We were greeted promptly, with a smile, and the waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. The house oysters are fantastic! The fried shrimp were also wonderful…seasoned and fried perfectly. The hot lobster roll was okay. It wasn’t hot enough and wasn’t as flavorful as we expected, but it wasn’t bad. The seafood pasta was terrible. No flavor at all - all I could taste was boiled seafood and unsalted butter. Adding tons of salt & pepper at the table made it edible, but I couldn’t finish it. Because of the other items the we enjoyed, we’ll come back and try some other dishes. Hopefully, the pasta was just a fluke.

Food was really good and the prices are surprisingly reasonable, but the server wasn’t the friendliest at first. She did become more personable throughout the duration of our visit. Overall, it was a decent experience and I would visit again.

My first trip to this restaurant with family from out of down. REALLY disappointed. Had oysters. I've had muscles that were less chewy. Corn fritters? Really? Tasted like fried dough with a few pieces of corn in them. Jiffy corn muffins would've been much better! The asparagus was good. I will say my visitor from Ohios chips and beer battered cod were good.
