Came here with my family for my sister's birthday. I will say that if you can find street parking, please do it. The nearest paid parking lot was a rip off. lol. Our waitress was amazing. She provided amazing service and we appreciated that. The food was decent but the prices weren't fitting. If the prices weren't up there and the food was more flavorful, I would've given it a higher rating. Kinda borderline over rated because we've had way better food at Red Lobster but whatever. My sister enjoyed her food, and we were given great service so that's what matters to me. If you decide to try them out,

Great atmosphere with a side of great food. Had the gumbo and happy hour oyster special and was perfect. My server Morgie M did a great job coming around frequentlt to make sure I had what I needed.

Where's your early afternoon yesterday. Where did the dozen oysters on the half shell and a dozen clams on the half shell, as well as a bowl of New England clam chowder oysters were very tasty however they were very small and flat dish the clams were okay but just okay, the clam chowder I would give a 3.75 out of 5 it tastes good but it was kind of cold when we got it but still very edible. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the servers are very attentive and helpful. So overall, this is one of the few places I would recommend in Columbia South Carolina.

We went here for a surprise date night and had an excellent meal and a wonderful time. We had steamed oysters as well as fried oysters which were both fresh and delicious ? but we also had the crab mac and cheese and OMG it was so good!! Our waitress was Whitney and she was very friendly ; cute as a button and very personal. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. Definitely rating them with five stars !

Waitress was awesome and friendly. The food was excellent, and the Lobster Mac-N-cheese was superb! Will definitely be back.

Food was okay! A steak should either be served with chimichurri or pickled onions not both. Makes a steak too vinegary. Service was amazing! And if you’re gonna cook potatoes, you gotta make sure you put butter garlic, and then rosemary. Cause your potatoes had no flavor and the last thing you add is salt if you want crispy potatoes. Their fish and chips were excellent!

Unfortunately the drinks at the bar are WATERED down a lot! In a way that's good for the younger crowd! They don't need to get drunk!!!!
Always a fun time. Oyster shots are delicious

I celebrated my bday in Columbia. We went to three spots. This was by far the best. We had Calamari and Oyster Rockefeller. We also had the oyster shooters. We ventured on the wild side with those but they weren't bad!

Came out of town and was in need of some oysters. Did a quick search and Pealrz Oyster bar came up. We ended up getting the dozen oysters and tried the sampler. The oysters were fresh and the servers were attentive. Seems like this place can get busy over the weekends so plan ahead!

Great little joint in downtown. Good oysters, cold beer. Oysters are pricey these days, but they are all over. My only complaint - same as with the other 2 Pearlz locations - the "chargrilled" oysters are baked, NOT chargrilled. Still tasty - but not the same.

You've got to try this place if you're a fan of peel-and-eat shrimp, gumbo, and seafood dip. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date night!

Took my mom here for her birthday last night and to quote her, she said it was the worst meal we have ever ate out. No flavor, burnt Brussels sprouts, charred oysters barely cooked (after I asked the rude server to do them well done) no flavor, just cheese…we were rushed through our order. She hated her shrimp and grits. The couscous tasted horrible, my salmon had no sauce and was over cooked. Wine was okay… the clam chowder was WATERY. I WOULD NEVER STEP A TOE BACK HERE. 165 DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN
