The food was good, but a bit pricey. I appreciate that the wings come with waffle fries, but $40 for wings and two beers is a bit much. Service was fine. Atmosphere is like a small dive with a ridiculous amount of TVs.

This place is really close to the Gamecocks stadium and South Carolina state fair grounds. So if you don't wanna pay expensive food prices at the stadium or fair this place is for you. Great food, small menu which makes the food they serve even better. We will definitely be coming back here more often.

Waffle fries were really good, Philly Cheesesteak is also good. Had the smoked wings last night, they lacked seasoning. In fact they were very bland. Big disappointment as the smoked wings start at $20. Atmosphere pretty good. Service was decent. Will return but wont get the smoked wings again. Drinks were also good! Lots of televisions to watch college football!

Little hole in the wall right by the stadium.ooo The bartenders and servers are very genuine and make u feel like a regular from ur first visit, drink iprices are cheap for downtown(3$) and the food is great for mainly being bar oriented

Stopped in here to kill some time before a wedding in Columbia (also happened to be a Gameday Saturday) and absolutely loved it! Very divey, quick service, affordable drinks, great wings, and what had to be 20 TVs with every game on. Shoutout to Danny and the staff for hanging out and talking ball.
I hope they find their Sawzall…

love peebles and have been coming for years! the bartenders are absolutely fantastic and the cooks do a great job. however, i witnessed the owner walk in today and verbally lash almost everyone who was on shift. he has amazing staff, but seems to not treat them that way. i find it embarrassing and unprofessional to speak to your employees the way he did, especially in front of guests. turned me off for sure, will be back but only to buy one beer and tip the staff immensely for their good work.

I am in Columbia for a trade show. I was going to try a fancy restaurant until I walked by this place. They're chalkboard out front resds; Wings, Poboys, fried flounder a d watermelon slices. Im in! As a fellow Western New Yorker I know a good wing. I went with the waiters favorite Teri-Cajun which was excellent. Large wings a double tun of blue cheese and carrots. Cold beer. Excellent.

Kristin made sure I had a wonderful first-time visit to Peebles. She was hospitable and such a great communicator when it came to ordering. It was a bit loud (music), but we could communicate well. Wings were great!

I was in town after a few years not living in Columbia and met a friend for drinks and apps. I used to frequent often. I love a dive bar. I was surprised with the new set up. I like the long bar. The bartender and service were great. The food was as good as I remember, although there aren’t crawfish on the menu anymore. Also, it’s still wild you can’t get 6 wings or 12 wings flats and drums, and nothing comes with a sauce. Even with its quirks I used to boast about the food but now I can’t really recommend it. The whole place needs to be fumigated. I didn’t use the restroom until we were done with dinner, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have eaten. If there are bugs in the ceiling there are bugs in the kitchen. The one in the corner was actually alive. Active infestation. I’m disappointed. Maybe the owner should take the service fees and extra he makes on the sauce and pay for pest control.

Not sure what has happen to this place it used to be so good and was my go to for wings. Unfortunately April 19 will be the last time I eat here. We ordered wings and fries (soggy and terrible) to go that evening and when I got home to eat them I notice they smelled bad. I have 1 and they tasted old. About an hour later, I was sick. Needless to say, I got very bad food poison.
