Went here on a Friday night traveling from tybee beach in the middle of my road trip. We had to wait for 20 mins even though the place wasn’t jam packed. Finally seated and order a mutton biriyani and a chicken 65. While the mutton biryani was pretty good, the chicken in the chicken 65 tasted like it was old and stale. Somehow this place didn’t give me good vibes. Would skip this place for somewhere else.

I'm not Indian culture but I love the food there. I've tried other Indian food places, but my family and I love this place and keep it as a regular visit and special occasion. Love it. Highly recommend it.

Five stars on all accounts. Asked for spicy lamb rogan josh curry and got it. The curry was delicious. The chili naan did the trick. I will return and I will recommend.

On our road trip, we were grateful Cracker Barrel was packed as we ended up here. Clean, tasty and nice atmosphere. We will definitely stop again!!

This review is for Persis Catering. Persis recently catered our wedding in Jekyll Island, GA and I cannot recommend them more. The food was incredible and well-priced; all of our guests raved about the quality and diversity of options. We found the team extremely easy to work with; Kasim specifically was very responsive and professional. We had zero logistical issues with the team catering our event in another state. We also visited their restaurant in SC twice and had great experiences dining there as well. Highly recommend Persis for any catering needs!

Just my second time eating Indian food. I was very impressed with everything! The food, the atmosphere, the service, everything was absolutely wonderful. I’m from out of town but if I wasn’t I would be going there all the time. Loved it!

I visited Purses Biryani in Columbia and had a mixed experience overall. I tried the Chicken Manchurian, which unfortunately was not to my taste. It was very tangy, and when I shared this feedback with the staff, I was told that nothing could be changed. I didn’t feel the response was very welcoming, which was a bit disappointing.

They did replace the dish with Madurai Chicken, which tasted good and worked well as a starter. However, the service was quite delayed, and even after requesting sides, they were not provided. The overall service felt a bit slow and unengaged.

On the positive side, the Chicken Boneless Biryani tasted good, and the biryani overall had nice flavor. Even though I ordered medium spice, it turned out to be spicier than expected, so something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to spice. The chicken pieces were decent, though not exceptional.

Overall, the food quality is good in parts, especially the biryani and Madurai Chicken, but the service experience could definitely be improved to make the visit more pleasant.

I love Indian food, and this restaurant had some delicious offerings. We ordered several dishes and passed them around family style so everyone could sample a bit of each one. It was a fantastic experience!
