I have visited Pho Viet in Five Points a few times now. I usually get the chicken pho and their shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce. I have always enjoyed my experience! Their broth is fresh and soothing and the meat is tender. The only thing I notice is that the toppings are often not so fresh (wilted basil or bean sprouts are not firm). For me, this is minor, but something to consider before coming to eat. Overall, I love coming to Pho Viet for a warm, comforting meal!
Passing through Columbia and decided to try something different. Most of the Pho places I looked up in the area were closed until later in the evening but, thankfully, this one was open and did not disappoint. I’m a frequent visitor to Columbia and enjoy trying new places as I discover them. The pho I had here was decent, and the service was satisfactory. I’ve definitely had better pho elsewhere, but overall, the experience wasn’t too bad. However, the atmosphere could have been greatly improved with better lighting and a more vibrant ambiance.
