My girls love this place and most of the time we meet my mom here for late lunch. But yesterday my mom had other lunch plans but my girls wanted to Pitas! So I took the chance to take them in during busy lunch on my own. We got through a sit down lunch with no meltdowns. And it’s only bc of the amazing ladies working. Every single waitress came and checked on us making sure we had everything we needed and just made everything as easy as possible. I really felt seen as a mom and not as an annoyance. We’ve always had great service but it’s mainly just a few people in at that time. Yesterday, almost every single table was full, but everyone was taken care of! And of course the FOOD was absolutely amazing 🤩
Yum! Service was quick, kind, and tasty! I'm still craving the Greek salad I got with my plate. I got a gyro platter and was full to busting with leftovers. Delicious! Will be back.

This greek restaurant is situated on Taylor Street in Columbia, SC and is an very reliable dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to everyone. We ordered their gyro platter and their lamb platter. Everything we ate was fresh, delicious, andexquisite. The chefs are clearly using the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful.
The food is delicious and authentic. The service is fabulous. Pitas is our go to Mediterranean food restaurant. It is truly THE BEST!!!!

I've been waiting since I moved to the area of downtown to try this place It's been a struggle due to their weird hours
And tbh.. it wasn't the most awesome experience. I got the mixed grill platter and paid for extra veggies, only to receive a very meager amount. The lamb was also superrrr tough? I've never had lamb taste like that before. The kafta was great tho, definitely recommend! The pita is also very bland and dry, even when I popped it in the microwave for a few moments. I wish I would have got fries or something instead. The parking lot situation is a little crazy, with it being off a main road downtown. It's usually packed! Perhaps the reason the staff was also very stressed and in a hurry to get me out the door.

I enjoyed my lunch here but the prices seem a bit high. After tip, it was $24 for lunch, with no drink. I had the hummus pita pocket, which I thought was going to be more grilled like shawarma, but the pita was room temperature, so the goodie was falling out. There’s also a service fee to use card. Service was great. Just didn’t think the price really matched the amount of food. I understand prices have gone up, but again, my meal only consisted of chicken, lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. Not anything overly pricey. I would return and maybe get something else.
