First time visiting and can say we will definitely be back. We sat at the bar and Justin took great care of us. I can personally say the fried pickles, shrimp and grits, and the Bloody Mary were excellent.

We will not be returning. The food was fried in old oil and greasy. We waited nearly an hour for our food. The only good was the waitress.

A bit more interested in the regulars. Walking in trash in the entrance way. Parking lot with trash and beer bottles. Stools ripped up. Front glass door has broken glass. A tired looking restaurant. Would not recommend.

We loved this little pub with a small town feel! We accidentally came on Monday night trivia night, and it was quite entertaining. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was really good too.
Some things to note—while smoking is outside, we still smelled it often when the doors opened. The music was quite loud, making conversation somewhat hard. Seating is limited, so if you have a big party you should call ahead to see if they can accommodate.

First and last time coming to Polliwogs. Came for the all you can eat crab legs. They were overcooked, gummy, covered in parasitic eggs, a hue of gray and old. At $60 per person and mandatory gratuity for 2, I wasn’t expecting that they’d be the worse crab legs I’ve ever had in my life. Won’t be returning. Also, the tables inside were sticky

If your going there to get drunk it’s ok. If you’re going to eat
just say no. Not great service and the food has always been disappointing, like fried in grease that’s month up to temperature. Always sopping wet with oil when they bring it out. Been there three times over the last three years.

It was a seat yourself night. The waitress came immediately and took our drink order. As several tables came at once, she had a runner helping take orders.

The service was great, met the manager as he made sure our service and food was as expected.

The food was amazingly delicious. For a small home town pub and restaurant, this one is doing it right. We will return.
