Literally a bit of a joke. First off, I have no idea why they take reservations. Not exactly a reservation type of place lol. The hostess wasn't at all welcoming or enthused. The pictures are incredibly misleading. It is not at all a restaurant or remotely nice; it's a college bar with some tables and servers, and a LOT of TVs (I guess it's also a sports bar). The menu is horrible and also not what you see online. I believe it was a holiday menu. There were only 5 “entrees” - it's bar food. We ordered a cheese and crackers appetizer while trying to get our bearings and to get something ordered since it took forever for our server to come to the table. Then we got the appetizer forever later - it was a grocery store type cheese ball and a pack of Ritz crackers. Literally a pack of Ritz crackers. We then jokingly noticed that the description even mentioned this on the menu in their defense. I had a few crackers, the cheese wasn't great, and patiently waited for our server to return. Browsing their drink menu (I think this also was a special holiday menu) I noticed there were way more drinks than total items on their menu, which was sort of funny. But the drinks were all very similar; most were rum based. It reminded me of being at one of those hole in the wall type places at the beach where they have 15 different super sugary beachy drinks all probably premade. There weren't any types of craft cocktails or even a simple old-fashioned. I did ask the server if I could just do a gin and tonic with Hendricks - she replied she wasn't sure if the bar would make that. That they were only allowed to take drink orders from the drink menu unless it was beer. Like seriously lol? Every basic staple drink that any bar would make was a no. That, the noise, the long return to the table waiting times - it was just time to leave. We waited again for our server to eventually return to ask for the check (she loved to say let me give you a few minutes if we weren't instantly ready).

It's beautiful for the holidays. Loved the vibe and drinks were cute. Kitchen sent food out all different times but most was yummy.

Overall a good experience. The service was very good, but the food was somewhat under-seasoned. The cocktails, in particular the Carolina Wren, hit the spot.

When we arrived there were only two other tables in the restaurant. It was half an hour after opening (11:30). We were told that five of the brunch entrees would not be available, including the chopped cheese, shrimp and grits and eggs benedict. We were a little confused because the chopped cheeses has all of the same ingredients as the burger, so we asked our waitress if it would still be available on a different bun. She went to the back of the house to inquire, and when she returned she told us that the full menu would be available but some items may take a little longer than others. We were fine with that as we were celebrating a birthday with a group of 8 and didn't mind enjoying each other's company for a while. The appetizers took a little while to get out, and the chicken wings we had ordered were quite good. When we received our entrees, two of us had ordered the chopped cheese and both were badly overcooked and neither of them had cheese on them. Because we had been there for a while (again, not a problem, as we expected a bit of a wait) our table ran out of water and other beverages. We were never offered a refill and a soda that was ordered never made it to the table. We then waited over 25 minutes for the table to be cleared as we had brought a cake to celebrate. After the 25 minutes, one of our guests asked for help from the bar, and 15 minutes later we finally got our checks. We decided to take the cake to another venue, as we had been there for more than two hours. Mind you, at no point did the restaurant ever have more than 4 tables at a time. It was enough to ensure that I won't be returning to the establishment, and would not recommend it to others.
Grouper was excellent. The ambiance wasn't what I was expecting, but it was still good. They were decked out with Halloween decor.

Very limited menu. 5 or 6 dinner choices. Very expensive for what you get. Don’t come hungry. You will be greatly disappointed. Service was terrible and rushed. Had to beg for salt/pepper. Very underwhelming. Will never be back. Oh and they charge for soda refills… on top of it all. We had two diet cokes in 6oz slim glasses, each had a refill we had to beg for and were never told about refill charges . $12 for 2 sodas. I felt like I was robbed walking out of the place for what I spent vs what we got. Never again. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Avoid this place.
