Stopped in while traveling through the area and this place is amazing. I had the five wings dry and the flavor was amazing. My husband got the pulled pork and chicken and the smoke on both was great. I think the highlight was the greens. I'm not typically a fan, but the flavor was phenomenal. I wish I could pick this whole restaurant up and take it home with me.

This is the only place that my staff has unanimously agreed to repeat for our Holiday party. In fact, they are so good, they are now a wonderful part of our yearly tradition!

Railroad BBQ absolutely delivered! The brisket was awesome—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The mac & cheese was rich and delicious, the perfect comfort-food side. On top of that, the service was truly top-notch: friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

If you’re downtown Columbia, SC, this place is a must-go. I’ll definitely be back! 🔥🍖

I really enjoyed the pulled pork. It may have been the best pulled pork i've had in a long, long time! Mac and cheese is great.

We were in town for a concert on Saturday night at the Township Auditorium nearby. Our friend said we should try this place. We love our BBQ places in Charleston and were excited. Sadly, they were closing in 20 mins so we had to get food to go. The staff were not bothered at all that we came in at the last minute. They recommended food and helped us order and get everything we needed to go. We stepped outside and ate right there! The food was AMAZING! The BBQ, the ribs, and the banana pudding to name my favorite things. We want to come back and try it again sometime!

My new favorite restaurant in Columbia! I was absolutely blown away by the flavor and tenderness of the brisket, and the sweet, seasoned collard greens were incredible. I’m obsessed with the décor and the history. I don't think there was enough space on the wall for one more photo. I could honestly spend the whole day just taking it all in. Everything was spotless and smelled amazing, and the staff was polite and very helpful. The wait wasn’t bad at all, everything moved smoothly and was well worth it. This restaurant exceeded every expectation. I’ll definitely be back soon… maybe even tomorrow!

Self serve food at full serve price. Dry chicken on a stale hamburger bun. Where are the pickles? Mac and cheese was dry and tasteless.

Super friendly staff! As far as BBQ goes, it was decent and very reasonably priced. The owners are clearly Democrats lol!

Best brisket I’ve had in a long time. The smoked chicken wings with dry rub are fantastic. The service is friendly and delightful.

The only reason I gave a 4 rating is because they were out of brisket and macaroni and cheese on a Saturday.
