I recently visited one of the best BBQ places in Columbia and was blown away by their brisket. The sides were a perfect match and made the meal even better. It was quite busy during lunchtime, so I recommend being clear and concise when placing your order. The cashier was extremely helpful and friendly. This has become one of my go-to lunch spots in Columbia.

Fantastic food! We wanted to hit a local spot after our son's boot camp graduation (we're from Boise, ID), and this one did not disappoint. The staff was kind, gave us a great recommendation, and the place itself was a lesson in culture and history. Worth the short drive from Fort Jackson.

Tasty food, but very small portions. For $28 total for brisket and two sides, I’m still hungry. Usually BBQ places are generous with portions. Not much value.

Ordered online for pickup. Ordered 2 burgers and two hot dogs, with the toppings that were on the menu. No adjustments.Received our burgers burnt, with no toppings at all. Menu said it came with lettuce, Super dry patty. My wedges weren't great, but they were "to-go", so you can't really expect much when it comes to potato wedges.Hot dogs were good. No complaints there.Banana Pudding was awesome.I may return at some point. I understand things happen, and everyone has a bad day. Not a big deal. The atmosphere seems pretty cool. Probably just a mistake.

Wow! We went there to get take out yesterday and I was blown away by how cool this restaurant is. I can’t wait to go back and dine in n’existe the atmosphere is fantastic. Tons of memorabilia covers the walls. You must see for yourself. The service was outstanding and they are so nice. Now to the BBQ…..outstanding! We only got the pulled chicken and pulled pork and it was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. I can’t wait to go back and try the brisket and other yummy things they offer. Go get you some.

Friendly people, great Brisket served in an interesting setting. So, far this the best BBQ we have found in Columbia!

Our move from California to South Carolina was made all the more memorable with our first meal at this charming spot. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My go to is the collard greens and brisket!

This was our first time here as we live an hour away. Read good things about it on the Columbia foodies page so thought we would give it a try and are so glad we did! First, impeccable service. Second, the atmosphere is clean and fun. Warm enough today to sit outside, where soft bluesy jazz was playing. Finally, just mouthwatering delish. We had the Tubman which comes with pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs and brisket. 3 kinds of sauce, all fabulous. Choice of 3 sides from so many it was hard to pick. Just-right sweet tea, fresh, cold and not over or under sweet. The team checked on us 4 times. We just had a ball, ate our fill and brought enough home for supper tomorrow. So worth the drive!
