This place is overrated. None of us liked our food. Also, our order was supposed to come with grits, but the waiter gave us breakfast potatoes. When I questioned him about it he said they're making more now but gave us the potatoes in the meantime. After eating our food, we asked about the grits. The waiter finally informed us that they actually didn't make them and don't plan to make anymore. I wish they would've told me that earlier because I didn't want the breakfast potatoes and would've picked something else. Don't make my food decisions for me.

I’m giving this 4 stars because the hostess I felt was quite rude. When I asked for an estimate about the wait time I was told “well you just joined the list so…”. Having been in a queue a time or two I know how lines work. On to the food. The beignets were interesting as they are not traditional but rather puff pastry squares that are deep fried and then powdered with sugar. Fine but not what I was expecting. The chicken with French toast bites was very very good. The omelette that I ordered was also very good but given the price, I thought the omelette would’ve been a little bit bigger, but it was a good omelette so I won’t complain about the taste. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend coming here.

I GOT FOOD POISONING AND MY ENTIRE GROUP!! This was my first time at Ruby Sunshine and some friends were visiting from out of town so my roomate thought it would be a good idea to take us all here after church. We put our names in on the waitlist thirty minutes prior to going and we still waited 2 HOURS. Granted it was sunday afternoon for a party of 6 which is kinda understandable but still the front hostess was very rude. When we got sat our waiter was AMAZING, he was very polite and got us what we needed. However that night we all texted each other saying we were throwing up and felt awful. Not worth the wait time or honestly the food quality!!
Our waitress, Linda, was awesome. She was friendly and knew the menu and even took some pictures of the table for us! She was great and fast
