First time having dinner here. The service was slow for a quiet Sunday night unfortunately, but the food was good. We got the miso soup, salmon tataki, samurai roll, as well as salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and escolar nigiris. The miso soup portion was generous and came with shitake mushrooms but no seaweed. All the sushi was delicious, especially the salmon tataki, escolar, and samurai roll. We paid $94.50 for everything, excluding tip, so it was pretty pricey. I feel a little hesitant about coming back due to the high prices and slow service.

We loved the food and vibe. The service was not great, but we would definitely eat her again.

I got an order for pickup from here. When I went to pick up, the waitstaff were very awkward to the point where it felt almost rude. It felt like they had never had someone come get an order for pickup before. They ordered me around about where I needed to stand while they packed my order. Why wasn't it already packed and why couldn't I just stand at the hostess stand?
Our food ended up being fine. It wasn't bad sushi at all, but it wasn't anything to write home about. Definitely disappointing for the price.

Food was good and that's the good news. Sat for 10 minutes before a server arrived. And was scattered the entire time. Always felt like she was ready to run away the second she got to our table. Had to ask me 3 times to remind her of the name of my wine (which she had already gotten once so presumably had it on the bill!). There's no ambiance. It's a large basement like room.

Put an order in on door dash 5 minutes before the restaurant opened so I scheduled the delivery a hour & 20 mins later. An hour & half later the dasher is still waiting on my food (2 sushi rolls). Ridiculous!!! I hope the rolls are worth this ridiculous wait.

The appetizer menu had many choices and the edamame was fantastic as It went over very well with the whole table. Our server, Maddie was absolutely amazing and attentive. The food came out promptly and was very fresh. We had no complaints.

Best hidden gem in The Vista. It can be hard to find but once you know where it is parking doesn't become an issue. Used to eat here all of the time in college and loved it. Heard they had a new owner so a group of buddies and I decided to give it a go while we were all in town for a reunion. It did not disappoint. We started with some classic rolls before diving into the specialty rolls. **Highly recommend anything with their fresh tuna!!!! A couple of us got hibachi and a couple of us got the ribeye- both ample portion sizes and tasted wonderful. I don't drink, but my friends who ordered the specialty cocktails ordered several lol. Overall a great night with great friends. Glad to see this place still in The Vista after 15 years. The owner Steve came out of the kitchen and chatted with us also. Very excited to see what he does next. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times. We went before a show at Colonial Life Arena. I expected things to be slow so we ordered food and drinks as soon as the waiter arrived. The restaurant was half full so I was hopeful for a normal restaurant experience. After 45 minutes we had received only a Diet Coke after requesting it a second time. We decided to leave after several broken timelines from our waiter who was trying his best. We even approached the bartender to request the drinks after 40 minutes, but he stated that he was the only one behind the bar even though we watched him giving drinks to people that came in well after us to sit at the bar. This used to be a great spot. Won’t be back along with the 3 other tables that left before we did.
