I came here twice with my daughter (who is a student at USC) and we love this place. Our most fav place in Columbia. The food is unique and delicious:-) And, our server Madi is the bomb. So sweet and helpful. This is an awesome place?

Sakitumi sushi bar on Gervais is an awesome place! I keep returning as the sushi is yummy! Service & staff are exceptional! I would like to give a shout out to Madi who is a special person whom goes above & beyond to assist me and my needs! She is expedient & knowledgeable! I appreciate everything about this restaurant! Ambience is casual and quieter than most! 5 stars!Parking: There is a private parking lot behind the restaurant.

We ordered the Saki Salmon and was disappointed. Our Salmon was only 2 inches in size for a $17 meal.

Did their sushi making class last night and had a blast. Great date idea. You must reserve your spot.

Had a casual business meeting at Sakitumi last night, Food and service were excellent. Raptor Roll was my favorite out of the many rolls we ordered but they all were great. Excellent environment to chat and have a few drinks. Smoked bourbon drinks, Sushi, and apps were all amazing. Highly recommend.

Always a good time! Great atmosphere and never super busy. It's an intimate setting, which I really like.

Maybe I am a sushi brat but these reviews did not live up to my expectations. The spicy tuna roll lacked spice and wasn’t like any other spicy tuna roll I’ve ever eaten.. the shrimp tempura also has cream cheese so beware. If you don’t eat sushi often this would be a great option, but if you do.. stay away!

Sakitumi never disappoints. Service was great. Really enjoy their variety of cocktails and the apps they offer. Especially that mushroom toast. But the best part of this place is the atmosphere. Very clean and you feel welcome.

Awesome food. Great staff. The owner often times walks around visiting with patrons, which exemplifies how much pride he takes in his business.

We ate here last night. The cocktail was good and the edamame was well cooked. Sadly we didnt get to try the sushi. Afyer waiting 30-40 minutes after ordering our food with no food (other than edamame) in sight, we had to ask for the check so we could make it to our next destination on time. Less than half the tables were seated so it was a little confusing why our food took so long.

Lovely atmosphere, good service the food was very good although the beef in the Kimchi Fries was overly salted. I would eat there again. Menu has a nice selection and martinis were very tasty.
