I absolutely love Salty Nut! It’s one of my favorite bars in Columbia, and to be honest, one of my favorite bars that I’ve ever been to. Even though you only get a view of the parking lot, it kind of feels like you’re at the beach when you go there. In addition, their food is pretty good relative to the divey feel of the bar, and I’m a huge fan of their French fries, which are some of the best I’ve ever had. They have a great selection of beers on draft, to include the most popular local craft beers, a nice selection of IPAs, and the traditional big-name beers.
One of my favorite things about Salty Nut is how they have an indoor and outdoor bar, both of which are excellent. I also love the staff members at Salty Nut, and I’ve never once had a bad experience with them. I won’t name names, but they have one particular bartender who is, in my opinion, one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met.
All-in-all, I absolutely love Salty Nut, would recommend it to anybody, and unless something drastic occurs, will continue to come here for years to come!

First time I had been. Went with a good friend. We had chicken bites and potato skins, it was lunch. The food was amazing. We sat outside which was really nice. The waitress was very helpful, even suggested the tai sauce for chicken bites. I also def recommend now! Great time!

Very laid back, bar-centered atmosphere. Bartenders are nice. Love the fried pickles here. They're coins, super thin, and crispy. I usually get the pimiento burger. Get it with jalapenos. The patties need a bit more salt/seasoning but beyond that really good. The fries are super bland, get the spicy fries or tots as a side.

the food was really good, i paid $15 dollars for this meal (pasta salad was an add-on). service was good. everything was good, my only complaint is the racial slur on the table. as a business i would just keep an eye out for these things.

Got in this place at like 11:30am waiting for a 3:30 game. Went to my truck to get something and by that time there was a line out the door to get in. I told them I was just going to pay my tab (i was leaving atp) and they refused to let me back in. Went around back and the guy let me in to pay my tab, i was then approached by bouncers saying i was “already kicked out” I was never kicked out. Moral of the story is the bouncers think they have some god complex and can talk/treat people however they feel. Don’t go to your car unless you want to be forced to leave with an open tab!

I was highly disappointed in the treatment. I came to visit this establishment to take my son for his first drink for his 21st birthday today. I am not one to play the race card but my son and I sat down in a booth and my son asked the young lady (brunette) for a place to charge his phone. We sat there patiently waiting on a server. A young man walked past us and took a table outside. I said nothing and continued to wait. It’s now about 10 minutes and two other staff members sat down and started talking, no one said a word to us. Every single table was taken care of and no one came to our table, said hello, absolutely nothing. Everyone continued to walk around as if we weren’t there. I finally asked the young lady after about 15 minutes, if anyone was working. She said she asked if we needed a server and we said no. That was a lie. She never asked and we definitely didn’t say no because I looked into places all day that I could take my son for his birthday. Ultimately we chose to leave. I work in customer service, so I am always polite when I’m out. I think if EVERYONE was greeted by EVERY staff member things like this wouldn’t occur. I definitely felt unwelcome and I won’t return
