Cheap wings on Wednesday. Terrible customer service. No one even acknowledged me when I came in or when I sat down. I found the bar and met a nice guy that took my order. I left to wait for the food for about 20 minutes. I came back in and again, no one acknowledged me. Everyone including employees were all watching the game. I asked someone if they knew when my food would be ready. He told me my food hadn’t been started yet. No apology nothing. I’m still standing here now waiting .. will never come again. Made me feel invisible especially as a person of color.

So the food was really good. Little surprised everything was on paper products. Usually colleges are pro save the earth. I got a burger and ate it for 2 days haha the fries were soggy and not really flavorful. The tots on the other hand *chefs kiss* My sister got wings and had nothing but good things to say. They had a deal on wings if your a wing lover you should try it. Now when it come to how I felt while in there, that's different. It is clearly for college people and I'm ok with that. But I felt because I was not a college student and do not look like the others I didn't get the same energy as everyone else. (just for ref there were other noncollege students there but they were parents an not P.O.C) could have just been us but definitely didn't finish eating before we left.

Salty Nut Cafe is a delightful spot that delivers on both taste and atmosphere. If you're in the mood for a casual dining experience with a local flair, this is a must-try.

Food is so-so; burgers good, chicken sandwich greasy, chips with sandwich were greasy, fries with my burger were soggy, good service, appears to be a fun place.

Best bar in Columbia SC, as a matter of fact in the whole world. I have been to many bars in my lifetime but no other bar has ever given me the satisfaction of happiness that the nut gives me! I come here all the time with my friends and we have all unanimously agreed that there is no place like the salty nut. I love this place and I will be coming here until the day I die. Service is incredible, bartenders really care about their customers and get the job done even when it is really busy (which is all the time). And the food is the best bar food I have ever had. You haven't really lived until you have experienced the experience that is, The Salty Nut.

My favorite place to eat in Five Points! The service is always great and the wings are amazing! I would get there early because it does get crowded quickly.

Just came to say that I don’t even like burgers but I devoured the best pimento cheese burger I’ve ever had in my life here. Also the drinks are cheap.

service is horrible food is good but inconsistent, fries are good sometimes and soggy other times. They need to train staff better, I understand they are college students however they are unprofessional

Saltys has some of the best wings in Columbia but also counts as a great bar. Trivia nights on Wednesday are a blast.

Great place, very tasty food and a slightly cramped parking lot during busy times. It has more cameras than a big brother season, so I assume rather safe as well!

I dont think there is a more iconic place with USC grads in Columbia. With LIT pitches and their famous pimento cheese tots, Salty Nut is a staple. Great bar food and nightly specials that include a Trivia Night. Think Saint Elmo's but in Columbia
