They dont answer the phone. Even went so far as to take it off the hook to stop it from ringing. Why have a phone if you aren't going to answer it??

The food was very good as always. San Jose is very consistent with how their food tastes, the service you get, and the atmosphere at all their locations. This was the first time at this location, and the decorations inside were just beautiful.

This place has awful customer service. My friend and I came in for lunch and drinks a few weeks ago. Upon entering the entrance, there is no one there to greet us and give us direction. We turn right and walk to the bar where 2 couples are sitting eating food. On one side of the bar there are two seats available where we can sit together but the counter top has not been cleaned from the previous customer's meal and drinks. The customer that once sat there was still present but was standing to leave and told us that we could sit where he was sitting. So we did. The female behind the bar looked at us, said bye to the previous customer but did not say anything to us. My friend and I sat in the chairs at the bar, one of which still had dirty plates, cups, etc still there from the previous customer. We positioned our chairs in a way so that we were not in the way for anyone to come and clean the space. The female behind the counter asked us if we were going to eat and we said yes. Still has not cleaned the space. She leaves and comes back with a basket of chips and salsa and literally starts placing them on top of and amongst the dirty space that still has everything left by the previous customer (picture plates of unfinished food, empty cups, dirty napkins, receipt, pen, etc.). I immediately and nicely said that the space hasn't been cleaned yet. As soon as I said that she paused and just stared at me for about 5 seconds and did not say anything as if she were trying to intimidate me or something. It was really weird. And then she began speaking in Spanish to another employee there who then started helping us. The first female behind the counter cleaned the space and left to the kitchen. My friend and I were meeting to catch up and I didn't want this to affect our time together, so I did not acknowledge the behavior and set intentions to enjoy our time catching up. We only ordered margaritas since we could see them being prepared in front of us. We were hungry but did not trust that the rude female who retreated to the kitchen would not tamper with our food. The one who took over and made our margaritas was nice and attentive though but unable to erase the awful experience with her coworker. In hindsight, we should have just left but I will never go back there again. Very rude staff and poor customer service. They make you feel very uncomfortable when politely making simple requests.

I highly recommend not going. The manager was rude as hell to us. We spent over 300 dollars there. We had a crowd of 15 people. We were respectful and still was treated poorly. I will never go back to San Jose on Forrest drive.
The food was cold the service was so rude I felt rushed then after I tried getting my baby a gum out the gum machine and it took his money and I told them and they would not give my 4 year old just 1 freaking quarter I’m so disgusted

Food, atmosphere, service was great! I ordered the three steak tacos, it came with beans, which were delicious. I ate at the bar, was hoping for more of a draft beer selection, so I just had a corona. Overall, definitely a great place to check out!
