Was expecting great flavor but the pork chops had no seasoning at all, very bland and the shrimp and grits were awful. Shrimp still had tail and some shell on them. Yams were so sweet and too much cinnamon. I am a Charleston girl and love soul food, this was NOT soul food!

Do yourself a favor: order your food, give them a couple hours, pick up your food, and you will not be sorry. The macaroni and cheese knocked me slam out! Hamburger steak, chicken, collard greens, and
hash and rice were all seasoned and prepared perfectly!

You can tell the food doesn’t sit under a heat lamp all day. They take their time to serve you food so delicious you will definitely return. The portions were great. Well worth the wait. Not fast...

I ordered the meat and 3 sides. I had fried chicken, candied yams, mac& cheese, and collard greens. The meal came with cornbread. All the food was fresh and delicious. Only reason for 4 stars is because of the wait. I waited for over 30 mins after ordering. I'll definitely come back when I'm wanting so good soul food but I'll for sure call ahead!
