Quite possibly the worst Shoneys I have ever eaten at in my entire life…and I grew up eating at Shoneys! My husband had just had a procedure done at the VA hospital and was starving when he was finished, so we sat down for some lunch. We should have turned around and walked back out. The only edible thing on the lunch buffet was the pot roast…the rest was awful! Staff was pretty friendly, but definitely frazzled from doing everything.

Like taking a trip back in time when these were more prevalent. It met my expectations. The food was good and they had plenty of the items you would expect. For a pro tip, try my father's trick with this from the old days. Eat a big breakfast here and it will hold you until dinner. You can skip lunch.

The atmosphere was good. The food had been there too long probably all day with spoiled bell peppers on the buffet bar. We should have done breakfast/brunch instead.

The restaurant smelled dirty and musky. The food options were limited and the food looked old on the bar. The salad bar tasted horrible. The service was bad; the greeting was unwelcoming and the atmosphere was off. The staff seemed annoyed, etc. This was the worst Shoney’s I have ever visited. There typically is some sort of consistency between the different locations but this one wasn’t it. Plus they had no options for kids or any ice cream or the famous Shoney’s bread pudding. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Go to the Sumter location it’s the best so far.

Waitress seated me at a table that was dirty and underneath the table was trashy! She came and use a napkin to wipe off the table but never swept floor. French toast and waffles were burnt and cold! Ordered a coffee it was real dark and lukewarm looks like the filter need to be cleaned it’s horrible and I will not return to this location

It was clear that no one wanted to work because they were saying, it's not my turn. Once they established who was going to be our server, it was fine. If the food that was ordered was on the buffet, that is where it came from. Overall experience was fair.
