This was the second time we've been to this location and the food is ok and the staff is awesome the only thing is we paid $35 for two buffets and it really didn't have much.. the only thing it has was rice chicken and salad. I would love to see more options in the future for an almost $40 lunch buffet.

Unprofessionalism starts at the front door. Staff was talking loudly amongst themselves about personal events. Had to listen to their disruptive annoying cackling the entire visit. As we were being seated, giving our drink order, a server gave a cell phone to our server who then passed us to the 2nd server so she could take a personal call. She came back only once (no drink refills attempted) at which time she was told the food and selections were horrible. She said oh I'm sorry, shrugged her shoulders and pranced off back to the server station where the others had congregated to yap some more. The chef who tended the bar was nonchalant when told about the extra greasy over cooked chicken and when asked if there would be rolls he said "you can eat them biscuits" that were clearly cold breakfast leftovers. He eventually served fresh rolls. Vegetables and chicken were over cooked with no seasoning. None of the hot food tasted good. We noticed other guests leaving food on their plates as well. The saving grace was the salad bar but it wasn't worth the price we paid for the meal. At checkout the complaint about the food fell on deaf ears. We left never to return!

Shoney's located @ 7335 Garners Ferry Rd. Columbia, SC. Not much of a selection for the "Home Style Buffet", some of the food looked over heated, and dried out. They only offered chicken and Beef stew as meats. The beef stew smelled strange, had black potatoes, and no beef at all in the serving tray. Unfortunately, I later became sick from the meal.

If I could give a 0 I would . It Started from the old lady host yelling out which table to sit at, I sat at a different table bc that one was dirty. She came up and said “ we in rotation you have to move” first off I’m a host also & we sit paying customers where they would like to . Strategize a better floor chart. Secondly we are non pork eaters & there is only 4 meats at this breakfast “buffet” bacon , frozen pork links , chicken tenders and fried bologna. Never again will they get my money, I should have left because I was not satisfied couldn’t even get a decent breakfast. 0/10
I should have read the reviews before I came in!!! It was recommended by someone that we come here for breakfast and on this particular day it was really, really cold outside so stopping by for cold food before a two hour drive home after a 12 hour work shift was not ideal for breakfast!!!! However the server was very attentive and sweet as well as wholesome

There was an older lady wiping tables down bossing other people around. Her boss even asked her to calm down. I understand when someone has a bad day but you work at an establishment between 10 hotels who haven't seen their kids in months cause their at ft Jackson. You filled the cup up so fast your attitude splashed on the plate. Ate one plate and spend $34 never again!! Nasty attitudes. No one was even at the door to greet us. The conversation in the kitchen was more important.
