All aroundâŚabsolutely amazing for a Sunday brunch choice. My first visit and when I asked Greg(the host) what he would recommendâŚhis recommendation exceeded my expectationsđ¤¤âAlmond Croissant, sweet potato bowl (with kale, candied sunflower seeds, pickled red onion, ginger vinaigrette), lamb pita with a side marinade cucumbers, Afro Pop Soda( butterscotch and a blueberry lemonade). Greg explained that Afro Pop was a black owned business. The cans had different art on themđ. My Aunt and I were pleasantly pleased and satiated đđ. Will undoubtedly be returning. Thanks Greg!!!

Sarah and her team are amazing folks who do magical things with food.
Had breakfast here the other morning and really enjoyed it! The outdoor patio is lovely and the servers are very nice and helpful. My only thing is that my salads (I took one to go as well) were both a little bit over dressed. That much dressing is really not necessary! Maybe they could put it on the side so that diners could choose how much they want to put on? The flavours were delicious though and very well crafted and I really enjoyed my London fog as well. Definitely recommend!
The fact that this place doesnât currently have five stars is a true testament to the cruelness of humanity. Canât wait to come back and bring everyone I know. Thereâs something for everyone here, as a health nut who also loves pastries, what more can you ask for? Loved sharing brunch plates with a friend over London fogs (and yes they go the extra mile with lemon zest on top). Also, talk about service with a smile. The staff is sweet as sugar. Thank you guys so much for the space, Columbia needs more places like this.

wanted to leave a review for my fellow vegans. I drove all the way to Columbia for a good vegan breakfast bc google & their website said they have vegan options. I donât know what theyâre referring to bc my drive out there was completely worthless after being greeted with âsorry we actually do notâ. save your time & money & donât go for vegan food

I absolutely love Small Sugar â everything about it is wonderful! I recommend it to all my friends and family. My only suggestion (and I truly hope the owners consider it) is to stay open a bit later than 3 p.m., maybe until 5 p.m. From a business standpoint, youâre definitely missing out on the late lunch crowd, especially on weekends. Other than that, I canât recommend this charming spot enough for breakfast, lunch, or just a cozy coffee and bread break.
