Well they have closed for good.Food is always good...when you get it. The servers behave like they have no training. Last time I ate there, the waitress didn't remember if she had taken our order, which she hadn't; got my order wrong and never corrected it; and we never got a drink refill. We had to beg for napkins and our check.

my mom and i decided to have steak and shake for lunch, when we arrived it took about 5 mins to be seated, then it took about 10 more mins for our server to come to our table. We then ordered our food, drinks, and milkshakes, we received our drinks and milkshakes and we waited and waited for our food. people were constantly coming in complaint about the food. After 51 minutes of waiting for our food one of the servers said they never received our order, so our server lost our order, keep in mind she kept telling us our food would be out shortly. never received our food. Not to mention that the bathroom was disgusting, there was a door hanging by a thread, a toilet that was not working that lead to water being all over the floor, and it smelled horrible. Terrible service. Wouldn’t even give them 1 star

Our group of 4 went in and waited 5 minutes to be seated. Waited 10-15 minutes and finally we all decided to leave. Service horrible wouldn’t even rate it 1 star for service. Wish I could have eaten to review the food

Poor service. Staff could careless if you are there or not. Arrived at 12:45 and didnt leave until 2:15. yes it took that long for them to just walk around like they had all the time in the world. No it was not crowded and no not a lot of tables seated. I have waited tables before so I have patience. Manager brought our food after asking twice about and yep cold fries. No drink refills no napkins waitress never came to the table after getting food. salt shake empty. More people left then stayed. Lost tons of money today. I could keep going. Hey they are hiring and need major help.

This Steak n Shake is great! You get a wide selection of great burgers, 2 options for seasoned fries, and table service at a fast food price. Try the garlic steakburger (if you like garlic) - you will thank me.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or bring a lot of time. The place was pretty good in the beginning but they changed the crew. The employees are not interested in serving customers and it is almost sickening to see them work at this slow pace. Went there a few times now but ended up leaving every time after nobody was serving after 15 min. Freddy's is just down the road and has awesome and quick service.
