Let me just say, Saturday I made it my business to stop here after a trip to the State Fair. And although I live in Charlotte, please know that EVERY time I come to Columbia from now on, I WILL make a trip here! I ended up getting four different kinds of cake, and ALL of them were AH-MAZING!!! 10/10 I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

The strawberry cupcake was very delicious and didn’t have an artificial taste at all. You can tell real, quality ingredients were used. I really enjoyed it although I would have liked a more moisture.

I cannot believe I've been missing out for the past couple of years, which, apparently, is how long they've been at the Harden location. I love pound cake and have tried a few other places, but this one is by far the best I've had in Columbia!! Parking is always a mess in the area, so be prepared for that, but it is totally worth the hassle. There's is definitely handicap parking in front of the store.

Listen…I’ve had the BEST chocolate cupcake I’ve ever had from this bakery. Always moist, never dry. If it’s your first visit and you need somewhere to start, I recommend the chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing. You won’t be disappointed. The staff is super friendly as well. 10/10

Last year June 2024 was my granddaughter and I first time at GG’s. She fell in love with the wedding cake!!! So I went back on several occasions to get more of the wedding cake. This past Saturday they still didn’t have the wedding cake so I decided to purchase the Peaches and Cream Cinnamon Roll!!!!! SMH!!!! OH My Goodness!!!! After putting it in the microwave for a few seconds I could have sworn I was eating a peach cobbler y’all. So So Delicious🥰🥰🥰 I will definitely be back this week with my granddaughter.Thank you Sweet GG’s!!!

Today was my first time there , but definitely not my last. That Kentucky Butter Pound Cake had me back in the bakery for another slice only moments after I left. Let me tell you that cake is so moist. You don’t need a beverage with it at all. The staff was super friendly and made my daughter and I feel so welcomed.
Been going to this establishment since day 1, my wife and I comes at least 3 times a month, and we still.leave with half the bakery, this is the BEST BAKERY IN COLUMBIA

You're not going to find a better slice of cake in Columbia! Every flavor I've tried is absolutely full of flavor. It is moist, dense cake that I am willing to pack on pounds for. So good.
The owner is lovely; so friendly every time I've been in. My kiddos love the cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzels too.
I wish I would have known about this gem of a place before I got married - as the cake would have been a Sweer GG's special for sure! I can't say enough good things and I will be back.

Visiting from out of town yesterday. Stopped in and got a slice of carrot cake (it was hard to choose....they all looked great!) and a pecan chewy. 10/10 recommend! So moist and delicious, and everyone was so kind :). They got it figured out for sure!
