Sushi was great. The free appetizer of salsa and chips were ok. The salsa had a sweet taste, just not what I am used to. Service was fantastic and a great atmosphere.

My husband and I tried Takosushi because he loves tacos and I love sushi. We both really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back!

We moved our freshman in today and had a wonderful waitress whose name I did not get unfortunately. She just graduated from USC in may and had a great upbeat attitude which was a great start to our day. Great food. Totally recommend. The food took a bit to come out but it’s every freshmans move in day so I am not going to hold that against them. Have waited way longer at places for no reason. Especially after having to go to wal mart after lol.

I really want to like this place. The food is (generally) pretty good, but the prep time is excessive, and the table service is, at best, forgetful. The restaurant layout is really weird. Oh, and don't order the guac. Whatever we were served, it wasn't guacamole!

Takosushi Review

THIS CONVERGENCE OF TACOS AND SUSHI IS INSANE! Don’t let the name fool you—at first glance, you might think “Takosushi” is strictly Japanese, but it’s actually a genius play on taco and sushi—and yes, you really can have both.

We tried the Crazy Roll and loaded up on steak, chicken, and shrimp tacos. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The food alone deserves a return visit.

What truly set our experience apart was our amazing waitress, Caroline. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My daughter is an incoming freshman, and Caroline went above and beyond—offering helpful advice, tips on college life, and answering all of her questions with so much kindness and patience. She made our daughter feel excited and at ease about starting this new chapter.

The restaurant itself was spotless, the vibe was relaxed, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and variety.

Caroline made the whole visit a 10+. We’ll definitely be back!

A great fusion of tex-mex and sushi. The takos are amazing and they have a lot of unique ones. And the sushi rolls were fresh and delicious.

I ordered online but order didn't come thru; staff quickly reordered for me and I thank them for the service, BUT, the food was absolutely horrible. The calamari I've had before, but it didn't seem fresh, edamame was definitely old, had no salt and 2 different colors (light and dark green) and don't get me started on the tuna tataki. It had no flavor at all...they just sliced up seared tuna and put over a small bed of yucky seaweed with the end slices of celery??? No condiment for this either. I work across the street, but I can promise, I will NEVER waste money here again. So sad.

I have only eaten here once and the food was nice and hot. Not to rant and rave about but for a quick lunch meal that was only 15 bucks I would return and order it again. The wings came out nice and hot and the fried rice was good. I sat at the bar and bartender was helpful and kind. My mocktail was ok could have been better but still enjoyable.
