Atmosphere is pleasant inside or out! The asparagus is a great choice for appetizer! Waitress Savannah was super sweet and made the experience extra special! Will definitely be back!!

Takosushi, downtown Greenville, is returning back to the Takosushi Restaurant we all knew and loved. I stepped away from this restaurant for about 6 months due to a manager that actually drove people away ... customers and workers alike. Now, the new manager (Eric) and his staff are great. I highly encourage the "old-timers" to come back and encourage "first timers" to enjoy this little gem. Get to know Eric and his staff, they are fantastic people that are eager to make your return feel like rekindling an old friendship.

Terrible service. Waited over an hour and sushi never came out. Apparently it was going to be at least another 30 minutes. We canceled our order, paid for what we got and left. You are a sushi place, you will not last with that terrible slow service.

For such a great environment, the food was mediocre at best as was the service. My friend’s meal was inedible and had to be sent back. The food tastes like it comes from a freezer, nothing fresh tasting at all!

We have tried Tako Sushi twice. Both times we waited over an hour for our food, and no we didn't order Sushi. The second time we visited, after an hour and ten minutes our food arrived...cold. So, clearly it was ready sooner than it was brought out to us. It does get quite busy, but both times we were there about 11:00 am, only two tables were occupied.

We stopped here for dinner b4 walking down Main St. for 1st Thursday. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Had a problem getting dinner to table. 45 min after getting appetizers. Cancelled dinner order. Kitchen problems, waitress staff went beyond to assist customers.

We went for the first time after recommendations our appetizer tempura asparagus was very good but arrived 32 minutes after we ordered it it and 7 minutes after our sushi arrived. Never got the extra ginger we asked for. We each ordered 3 glasses of the same wine. The server didn’t suggest we order a bottle and when we asked about getting the bottle price were told absolutely not because we didn’t ask for it to begin with. We won’t be back They lost our business over a difference of $27 on a $150 dinner.

Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, tacos, or a creative fusion of both, Takosushi delivers with a menu full of diverse and satisfying options. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. I highly recommend Takosushi to anyone looking for flavorful Asian cuisine with a twist. No option for zero stars, but should be. Was looking forward to an alternative from Barrio across the street. Unfortunately our Saturday afternoon visit was terrible. Awful/terrible things include:

- 20 mins before getting a server
- Another hour to get entrees
- Bunch of staff wandering around while our waitress was trying to handle multiple tables
- Food - all of it was lukewarm. No flavor to burger, undercooked fries, undercooked rice, sushi rolls poorly put together, something you'd expect at a gas station or grocery store. Extremely expensive for what you get.

We don't recommend and will not go again.

The restaurant itself was a modern slightly upscale dining. The place is too new to have troublesome wobbly tables. Least little movement and there goes your flatware and drink. The service was terrible. We ordered a drink prior to ordering an appetizer. Finished the appetizer with half of our drink. I basically chocked down my last four pieces of sushi. I flagged down my server twice with no response. She never came by and checked in on us after bringing our food out. The Gentleman at the table behind us got frustrated and went to the bar and got his own drink. The sushi isn't worth the price. I guess this is going to be just a hangout spot for drinks for in Lexington.
