We were just passing through the area and saw this. The Hoot Sandwich, tots, chocolate cake and Mac & shrooms were delicious! Friendly service and quaint atmosphere too.

Love this place... great concept and great food in a casual atmosphere! I travel through Columbia monthly and stop here often. I learned about its existence several months ago. Tried another vegan restaurant in the area multiple times, but it left something to be desired. The menu has a great variety and they offer specials regularly. Brunch is available on weekends. Enjoyed everything I've had. Wait time is generally minimal. Seating is first come, indoor and outdoor. Orders are placed at the bar and can be dine- in or carry out.

This establishment will change how you feel about and see vegan foods. The burger tastes like real beef!!! Everything in this picture is vegan but the taste is awesome and makes you feel like you’re eating non vegan foods. I highly recommend, plus the waiter is very knowledgeable about the food while also being very sweet and kind.

I’ve had this spot on my radar for a few months and chose two of the holiday brunch specials. I will be going back after the holiday season and trying core menu items. Here are my thoughts:
Pancakes: mocha was too bitter for my taste; would have preferred chocolate chips in addition to balance out flavor, peppermint *only* in the whipped topping and maybe a bit of chocolate drizzle (mint cooked into the pancakes gave them a medicinal aftertaste but it was tasty in the whipped topping)
Grits: watery and slightly too gritty
Potatoes: crispy; boring/bland flavor; will try to order with onions and peppers next time
Biscuit: bacon/egg/cheese were tasty; biscuit was too crumbly; perhaps on an English muffin instead? I think the crumbly texture of the biscuit would be better suited with sausage gravy

It's Hiding back there in the corner. But when you find it?! Oh your mouth is gonna be happy.
The cheesesteak was the least impressive. Filling and tasty. Nice sandwich. The shrum Mac n cheese had amazing flavors and good texture. The cheese tots were grown up, crispy on the outside tender inside and well seasoned. A bit skimpy on the cheese. The ranch that comes with it is too good to be called ranch. The hush puppy's will make you hush. They are huge dense yummy fried happiness. And the butter that comes with them will confuse you with layers of fabulous flavor.
Choose from scattered tables, high or low, tables along the perimeter, maybe a sofa, or the bar. Various colored ambient lights.
Place is a bit drafty. They are not shy with the drinks.
If this place were near me I would no doubt be here daily for the food vibe and drinks. Only thing missing I think is plants. Like you expect plants and books with the set up. Maybe a mural.

Easy parking and they have a happy hour!! I'll definitely return next time I'm in town and highly recommend!!

What a cool, quirky food/bar spot! The ambiance is great and the food and drinks are EXCELLENT! The Philly and fries were OUTSTANDING, and the hush puppies were great, too! Got their seasonal Fallgarita as well and couldn’t be happier. If you want some vegan grub in Columbia, this is the place. Look no further! ❤️

Was passing through Columbia on a road trip and discovered this absolute gem of a restaurant. I can’t stop thinking about it the hoot sandwich. Also A to any vegan restaurant open on a Monday. I will be going out of my way to visit this place again
