Delish! My first time here. What drew me to this restaurant was not only because it’s vegan, but when I was searching for a vegan restaurant, there was a dish that had a wine glass near it (wine-that’s to my heart). I added for a good manhattan and she delivered! I had the patty melt. I’ll be back!

We got the Philly and the Beyond with mushrooms with the house salads, and everything was delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu.

So many good vibes from the jump! We grabbed some takeout after a long day and we're not disappointed. Hush puppies for snacking on the ride while the Hoot as a poke' bowl and Shroom Mac made our tummies happy while watching a movie. We will be back for brunch.

Café or dive bar it’s hard to tell…. People smoking cigarettes on the dining patio, so it’s great if you want to inhale secondhand cigarette smoke with your meal, or you can eat inside in the dimmed lights of the dive bar atmosphere, drunk screaming women included!! I am so turned off by the atmosphere here that I would only ever get food to go. There are a handful of other negative aspects about this place that I won’t bother to mention. The food was also terrible, It was incredibly bland. It was so bad that I actually threw it away after eating the kale salad that came with it..

The Hoot is my favorite third place in cola. Whether I’m swinging by after work for nachos, meeting friends for Sunday brunch, or jamming out on karaoke nights, I know I’m guaranteed exceptional service and a fun visit. Every single staff member there is a joy to talk to. This bar is by and large one of the best additions to the Rosewood area.

My friends had been previously and loved it but tonight must have been an off night. The restaurant was filled with cigarette smoke as people were smoking right outside the door which was kept open the whole time. We had to leave quickly, without finishing our food or drinks, so my friend could get their rescue inhaler as the cigarette smoke brought on an asthma attack. The patrons at the bar were clearly drunk and very loud, making it so we couldn’t even have a conversation at our table and hear each other. They were very engaged in a loud conversation regarding sex and intimacy that the whole restaurant could hear. Bartender was friendly enough, although not a very welcoming staff overall. It was hard to tell who worked there and who was just hanging out. Very clicky vibe. Our beer was good though.
