Where do I start?! We (party of 5) arrived at 12:50 PM, ordered our food at 1:15 pm and still don't have our food at 2:35 pm!! Unacceptable!! We watched 4 other groups get their food and they arrived AFTER US!! Hot as fish grease in there too. Air conditioning needs to be upgraded. They brought out fans which helped.

There’s a cover charge after a certain time. I think it starts at 8:30. Cash only for cover charge. Venue is tight inside after 9ish, especially near the bar. Kristina is the most amazing bartender ever! Very sweet and attentive with a great memory. She’s the blonde young lady. Love her!!!!! Try the garlic parm wings. They’re amazing 😍

They need more servers and apparently a better ventilation system in the kitchen because the oder of frying oil was prevalent. But the jazz was first rate and the place is charming.

The Joint on Main Street is the place to hear great Jazz music. First time for me and I will be back. Muscian Mark Rapp is FANTASTIC and took me back to the Jazz Clubs in New York. Namely, The Village Gate and the Blue Note. This is the place for Jazz!!

Been here a handful of times. The atmosphere is nice but I just don’t love the food. I’ve had the omelette, fish & grits and the salmon (if I remember correctly) patties. Nothing seems seasoned to me, except the fries. The last time I visited, I ordered wings and fries. The first set of wings came out burnt so I sent them back. Looks like they were using old grease. The second set looked better but still weren’t that flavorful. Drinks are ok. I was also shocked to see that they automatically add 15% gratuity to EVERY check. I thought this was a bit ridiculous but I didn’t argue. I may return but not in a hurry. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Latin Caravan

The Joint on Thursday nights from 7pm-2pm is the only spot to be. Live Latin band from 7-10 followed by the best Latin DJ’s from the Columbia area. They just repaired the Dance floor and expanded the menu. And of course they have the best bartenders in the business.

Who doesn't love an amazing jazz club! This location has been on my list for quite sometime and since I was in the area I thought, why not visit. The band was absolutely amazing playing everything from classic oldies to some newer school. The location no longer serve food but small bites - there are a plethora of restaurants within walking distance. I recommend checking them out if your are looking for dinner.

The drinks and atmosphere were exceptional! It reminded me of an old jazz club. If love jazz music definitely checkout this location!

If I could give it 0 stars for the bartender pictured I would. I’ve been here numerous times and never had this experience. Every other experience was very pleasant but tonight was unacceptable. We sat on the bar for at least 10 mins while this bartender ignored us. To be clear, there was only one woman standing in front of her who she served and then walked away. We sat exactly where she was standing, which means we were directly in front of the bartender and watched her serve 2 people while never being acknowledged. We were sitting in the middle of the bar, how did you not see us!!! I tried to get her attention and she still ignored us, until finally she looked over and I asked her if she saw us. She said she didn’t see and then said “and I’m not serving you, you can leave”. So I asked her where is her manager and she said “I am the manager”. To even avoid any further disturbances to the great vibe and music in the establishment, we left. I will never return because of the bartender pictured. And please roll the cameras back to see exactly what took place. Took place on 03/22, approx 11:30p-11:55p!!!!!!!! Totally disgusting. While we were walking out she yelled “BYE”. If she is the manager, this is a disgrace to such a beautiful establishment with great musicians!
