The Melting Pot

First time here. Everything was great. Loved the food, the service, the whole experience, and will definitely be back!!!

April 2025 - We visited Josh at his new house and celebrated his big purchase at the Melting Pot. I can’t believe we had never been there before - it’s one of the few restaurants that has flourished in the same location for the 25 years we have been in Columbia. It was the perfect place to go considering that his house is only a couple of miles away.

Everything was good

The cheese was absolutely delicious! They sure were skimpy on the carrots; there was one baby carrot cut into four tiny pieces. That is the only vegetable I like but other than that yum!

Zane is the best! We always have awesome service, but tonight was exceptional. The food and drinks were of course amazing as well.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time dining at The Melting Pot! The entire experience was fantastic, and our server, Nicole, was absolutely amazing, so sweet and attentive. She made sure everything was perfect for us throughout the evening. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience. It’s an absolute must!

Food and service were mediocre at best. Steak was way over-seasoned. For the price it should be filet, not sirloin. Had to keep asking waitress for drink refills. Will never be back.

The quality and presentation of the food is excellent. The service and atmosphere makes celebrating special events here memorable. Definitely recommend The Melting Pot in Columbia.

I come here traditionally once a year for my wife's birthday. She loves the place(usually) but last weekend was insane. Hostess was in a bad mood, and we were seated at the wrong table (table next to ours had a birthday card with my wifes name on it). We were served food without any utensils, sat with our menus on the table the entire meal and my wife was given the wrong wine. I was given the wrong entree and when the waitress couldn't light the flaming turtle dessert course, she literally said, "there must be something wrong with our alcohol". I was asked about 20 times if the food was "divine" which is kind of weird and the waitresses pack of Pall Mall cigarettes were on her serving tray with everything else. We will keep our yearly tradition of eating at the Melting Pot but will seek other locations.

I was so excited to see this on our road trip as I haven’t been since I lived in Michigan. Our server was amazing! Food was excellent! It isn’t a cheap date but it’s worth it and come hungry!!!
