The customer service here was extremely unprofessional. I ordered candied yams and was served something that looked like a potato soufflé. I politely explained that I do not eat that texture and asked for rice and gravy instead.
The issue is how it was handled. The server scraped the food off the plate and returned the same dirty plate with rice and gravy placed in a small bowl on it. That alone was unacceptable and unsanitary.
The turkey wings appeared old, overcooked, and dry with no gravy at all. The meat was falling completely off the bone, which made it seem like it had been sitting for a long time. The food did not taste or feel fresh.
There were no customers coming in or out while I was there, and based on my experience, I understand why. Between the poor attitude, lack of basic food handling standards, and low food quality, I will not be returning.

Second time ordering from this place through Uber eats and they are closed when the driver gets to the restaurant. They should be open!!! They need to take their restaurant off Uber eats!!!

First time in Columbia SC and I informed the guy that I had not had good food since I been here. he assured me he does. I took the chance very personable and great customer service. I ordered fried chicken with greens, mac and sweet potato side and a piece of lemon cake. my only complaint is the chicken was not fried hard and the leg he gave me didn't have the whole leg. other than that the sides were phenomenal the chicken was seasoned very well. just the skin became soggy from the steam. but the food was extremely good!

This was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the hamburger steak over rice with gravy, mac & cheese, cheese, and collard greens. I paid about 21 or $22. The rice was not seasoning. It was very fluffy and overcooked. The hamburger steak was like smashed steak like you took some ground beef and smashed it on the grill and threw gravy on top of it. The mac & cheese was rubbery. The cheese was rubbery. It was not cheesy. It wasn’t melted. It wasn’t given the only thing that was good on that plate was the collard green was all right and the cornbread, but I would not recommend this place.

Been in South Carolina since Tuesday, I was determined South Carolina people didn't know what seasoning was until The Q spot came across Facebook decided to give it a try. They did not disappoint. Had the hamburger steak, Mac and cheese, black eyed peas, collard greens, and cornbread. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥big shout out!

We were the last customers Friday night and the staff welcomed us as if we were the first customers! This was our first visit and we were a little skeptical but the food was AMAZING! The customer service was top tier and we will definitely recommend this restaurant to others! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I've just relocated to South Carolina..Im always skeptical of good soulfood. First! The Hospitality..made me feel at home. The food!! Who's grandma is cooking? The Ribs, mac and yams!!! You guys have not disappointed me...I pray that you guys will continue to be pillar of our community where folks can get great food at a great price!
