We went to this restaurant Saturday, March 15th, 2025. The staff was very friendly, they greeted us as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was clean. It didn’t take long to get our food and it was delicious. We definitely will be coming back and bringing family &friends.

First time here. I heard the advertisement on the radio and wanted to see what the hype was about. The food was delicious! Customer service was good. I ordered 3 dinners and wait time was 20 minutes. I recommend you try it for yourself.
The went to this restaurant on Sunday, September 15th for dinner and purchased a turkey wing dinner for 18.00. When I reached my home with is approximately 25-30 miles from the restaurant, the turkey wing was burnt on one side and hard. I called 7 times and the voice mail said the restaurant was not receiving messages and the voice mail had not been setup. The website indicated the restaurant would not be opened until Wednesday. I went to there at 4:45 pm and it was not opened. I returned today to get a refund on the meal and the employee was rude and unwilling to address the issue. One and done.

The food wasn’t fresh. The Mac n cheese was burnt. The collards wasn’t all the way cooked the turkey wings was boiled off the bone however it wasn’t enough meat to tell if it was one or two turkey wings. The seasons to them was great buy for my total to come up to $18 come on man
I ordered a turkey wing dinner with rice/gravy, mac n cheese, and collards and a meatloaf dinner with cabbage, yams, and broccoli casserole. I was very disappointed. The turkey wing was overcooked. I got there when they opened on Sunday ,9/1 at 1:10pm. I could tell the mac n cheese was not fresh. I know the difference when mac is fresh out of the oven...we all do. It was not creamy and tasted like leftovers. The meatloaf and broccoli casserole was salty. I had to throw it out. So $37.38 was wasted. The yams were awesome, but that was about it.

I ordered from this restaurant yesterday via DoorDash! It was the absolute worst! The macaroni and cheese was old and had no cheese! The collard greens were bland and tasteless! The cornbread was light-skinned and not even done! The fried ribs were burnt and leather like! The banana pudding was made with actual banana flavored pudding! Everything was just horrible and you cannot continue to serve this garbage to the general public! I will never order from here again and I suggest you don't waste your time, money, or taste buds on this monstrosity!

Me and my husband found this place on my FB feed. Let me tell you it is a small family restaurant and the food is true soul food ? Everything was seasoned and the food was hot. I had fried turkey wings with Mac and cheese, collards and yams. My husband had fried ribs, rice with Mac and cheese!!! We will definitely be back???

We stopped on our way home from vacation, back home to Texas, my husband and I. We were looking for some good soul food. Well, good we did not find, but great we did! The food was on point! ? It reminded me of my childhood days. The atmosphere was great, and the customer service was terrific. They engaged with us to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was okay.
