First time in Columbia SC and I informed the guy that I had not had good food since I been here. he assured me he does. I took the chance very personable and great customer service. I ordered fried chicken with greens, mac and sweet potato side and a piece of lemon cake. my only complaint is the chicken was not fried hard and the leg he gave me didn't have the whole leg. other than that the sides were phenomenal the chicken was seasoned very well. just the skin became soggy from the steam. but the food was extremely good!

This was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the hamburger steak over rice with gravy, mac & cheese, cheese, and collard greens. I paid about 21 or $22. The rice was not seasoning. It was very fluffy and overcooked. The hamburger steak was like smashed steak like you took some ground beef and smashed it on the grill and threw gravy on top of it. The mac & cheese was rubbery. The cheese was rubbery. It was not cheesy. It wasn’t melted. It wasn’t given the only thing that was good on that plate was the collard green was all right and the cornbread, but I would not recommend this place.

They have a chalk board of what they have for a menu, I should have known that was the first mistake of eating at The Q Spot! I Ordered oxtails, cabbage, double broccoli casserole. Sides was decent but the oxtails was burnt ate the sides and couldn’t eat oxtails they was horrible. I ate 2 pieces of them off my plate and my wife ate 2 bites from her plate and told me to take it back. They gave her a whole another plate but didn’t replace my meat I’ll chalk that up but never will go there again. The people at the front were sweating, wow ringing up people and handing out the food. They had a child fixing drinks and handing out the plates he was also sweating. It’s all about the professionalism in which there was none. The lady at the front seem to have an attitude when we were trying to place our order never smiled. I definitely will never step foot in this place again.
