I made the mistake of going here for their New Year's Eve event. The advertisement said "Desserts & Light Bites, Signature Cocktails, and Midnight Champagne Toast". "Artisanal treats and delectable bites" meant three options of desserts. Two were decent (nothing too incredible though) and the third looked like an oyster so I didn't try it ...but that was it for free food. "Expertly mixed drinks/ curated bar program" meant ONE free Welcome drink and a VERY limited menu of free drinks - two wines, one white, one red - neither good. I didn't ask about the beer, probably a couple Peak Drift and a cider. Anything else, you had to pay for, and you could only get a small selection of food & drinks. We got the Margarita Pizza and it came out luke warm. The cheese never even melted. The manager came over since we just couldn't understand what we got with our $75 per person tickets. She, and our server, were both very nice. I got the impression they weren't really told in advance what was going on. The music was good too so at least there was that. Didn't stay for the champagne toast, figured we'd give up our table to some of the people who didn't have anywhere to sit. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Absolutely loved this brunch spot during our day trip to downtown Columbia, SC! The atmosphere was incredible—peaceful yet inviting, perfect for a relaxed outing. It gives amazing aesthetics for social media. Our server was fantastic, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness and friendliness, and we even had a great conversation.
The food? Amazing. The prosciutto goat cheese flatbread was an absolute standout, but everything we tried was top-notch. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy a quality meal with great vibes!
Parking: We had to park up the road and walk a little. It’s on a main street with lots of shops and restaurants.
Stopped in here for a date night while we were visiting and everything was lovely! The atmosphere was so lovely and our server was friendly and attentive. Drinks were great (especially the pickle one!). We snacked on the Margherita flatbread and the shrimp cocktail. Sauces were on point, shrimp was firm and tasty and the flatbread crust is great. Chewy, a tiny bit glazed and crispy on the outside, and flavorful. I likely won't be in Columbia again anytime soon but would absolutely recommend this place to anyone local or out-of-town.

I cannot say I love a place more! This is my favorite spot in Columbia. A friend introduced this place to me and I was skeptical but loved it the first try. I knew my family would be skeptical also, but just like I thought, THEY LOVE IT TOO!!! The new location is set up a bit different, but it's still a great time and beautiful space. We were met at the door by Elijah, who is so nice!!! He was well dressed and gave us a great welcome. Our waiter was Rob and he did not a let a party of 5 stop him. He was super nice and loved his whole vibe!! We ordered so many different things and it all came out so fast and was so delicious, ALL THE FOOD!!! Rob made sure our drinks did not get low and Jen made sure the drinks were soooooooo good that we made sure we left no drop! There were alcohol drinks and mocktails and everyone was SATISFIED, no... a better word, ECSTATIC with the service. My husband was not a fan at first because he wanted a restaurant with more options of food, but he still left full and happy, claiming it was one the best restaurants he has been to in a while. Our bill including the tip came to about $70 a person, so not too bad.... but well worth it!!!

My husband and I came in for brunch. We ordered the biscuit board and the food was delicious, but the portions could be bigger for the price. The vibe of the space was great, the music could have been a bit more mellow for the time of day, but all in all a great experience. We'll be back for sure.

This was my first time at Robinson Room but it definitely won’t be my last! Our server, Garrison, was on point! He went above and beyond, even gave us a photo shoot when asked to take out pics! The manager, Jennifer, was courteous as well! The ambience was well put together! Definitely would recommend!

Drinks, food and decor are all great! But they should really reconsider having the default tip set to 30%, with the other two options being 25% and 22%. Server doesn’t even hand you the the machine, he just holds it out at you and says ‘all you need to do is sign!’ I guess hoping you’ll leave it at the 30% tip, or making it extremely awkward to set your own tip. I always tip over 20% anyways, but don’t like being pressured to, in front of the server and my entire group. So, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.
