Smoothie was great. I ordered a side of Kale and Apple Salad. It came in a bowl that was intentionally flattened with a spoon full of salad. So NOT worth the $2.50 it costs.

They were nice, professional, and kept the pace as it was getting busier and busier. As I work on campus, it was convenient to get something healthy. UPDATE: The parking can be a little crazy and trying to learn the parking system was new for me. Hence, the 4 out of 5.

You would think if you had broken doors to your establishment that did not open, you would put up a sign on those doors to use the other doors so that customers would not think you were closed, especially when your employees would ignore the customers that tried to enter through your broken doors. So furthermore, the service here is lacking but the food and the smoothies are still good.

AVOID AT ALL COST! This location can never seem to get it right. Last visit 5/12, I ordered a Baja chicken wrap that was undercooked. The rice was soooo hard in the wrap. I had to dispose of my meal. The customer service is so poor!! It's been almost a month and I've yet to receive my refund. Every time I reach out I'm told to email someone named Sarah but haven't received a response. Upon calling after days of no response I called. The manager on site showed absolutely no concern to my issue and refused to speak to me (I can hear him telling an employee there's nothing he can do about it and refusing to take the phone) I explain it's been a month and I'd rather speak with management. The employee lays the phone down until I hung up. I'll never patronize this business again.Edit: In response to the owner's super prompt reply to my review, although it's been almost a month since I've been contacting this location for a refund. My reference to undercooked was to the rice which I also mentioned was extremely hard and dry all throughout my wrap. Hence the reason it had to be disposed, not eaten. Also are you not going to respond to the poor customer service shown considering the fact that I've been requesting a refund for almost a month since the date of purchase and how your manager on site wasn't willing to even speak with me about it before an employee placed the phone on hold until I hung up? Or was it just important to respond to try to discredit my honest review? Have you even contacted staff at the location to see if this issue occurred at your location before responding? This location's phone number is +1 (803) 807-9335. I'm 100% sure of the location. This is EXACTLY why I won't be patronizing this business anymore. Take accountability and just give me my money back for food that had to be thrown away. The students of USC deserve better.
Most of the locations are great, but the location at Prisma Health is superb. They always have my to-go ready at the time the app says, they always include the napkin, and I even get greeted when I come in to pick-up. Only complaint is taking the Turkey Apple Dijon sandwich off the menu! The flatbreads and the great service keeps me coming back, though.

I would fully give zero stars if I could. Last time I called to place an order, I was informed by a very unpleasant employee that I needed the app to place an order ahead which I did not have time to sit there and download when I was already on the phone and in a hurry, so I just cut my losses and moved on. When I tried to place an order online today, the site would not allow it. Given that I again have limited time, I tried calling multiple times, allowing for several minutes between each attempt. Each call was met with a voicemail. What is the point in having phones if you aren’t going to put them to use? I understand other people may be on the line, and that is why I am fine with being put on hold, but part or your job is the customer service aspect!! There can’t be ANY customer service if you won’t even talk to the customer! Between the rude employees, the fickle website (I understand that isn’t something this establishment in particular can control), and the lack of customer service- I really do not recommend coming to this Tropical Smoothie.

I order from the store on Sunset by mistake on the app. I tried to cancel the order from the store on sunset by was told no and they was rude. The customer service I got at this store was amazing even if I so very frustrated by the lack of customer service from the sunset store. The employees at this store was kind and helpful! Thank you so much for making my experience at your store great one!!

They are skimping on ingredients in smoothies. Tasted like nothing but ice and a hint of fruit. After remaking it, it was even worse than the first time. Other tropical smoothies in Columbia do a better job at making the smoothies and they use full fruit, not just ice. Customer service was decent and the Flatbread, however, was good.

Came to South Carolina for the Lil Wayne concert and my body was definitely calling for a post concert detox and something healthy. Grabbed the Detox island green smoothie , Avocalada smoothie, the chicken chipotle flatbread, and chicken pesto flatbread. All very very delicious.The flatbreads had the right amount of chicken, seasoning and filling.The smoothies added life into this 40yr old soul acting like he's 21. It located on the South Carolina Gamecocks campus. So very clean and you'll see college students walking all around.
