The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of stars is b/c whoever cooks the shrimp and grits on the weekends does not do a good job at all. I usually order during the week days, and the food is always good during the week. But whenever I order on the weekends, in which I get the same thing every time, the food quality is severely lacking. Not sure who makes the food on weekends, but it’s obviously not the same person who cooks during the week. Prime example of what I mean is I ordered shrimp and grits today which is a Saturday and the shrimp was undercooked and the grits weren’t creamy, they were dry. Huge difference in the quality. I won’t be ordering on the weekends anymore, only during the week when the food quality is super.
Food was delicious.

Food was great, if you haven't been you should go at least once. Cheese grits are great. Biscuits are perfection. And the toping options are not only numerous but delicious.

The food was decent, but for the price, I should not have to:
1)Stand in line to order
2)Fetch my own coffee
3)Fetch my own condiments (you have to fetch your own salt and pepper!)
4)The syrup should not come little cups with lids on them (the syrup gets on you, the table, everything).
5)Sugar should be on the table.
6)Rolled silverware should be on the table.
Everything in this picture I brought to the table with the exception of the actual food.
The biscuit sandwhich was fantastic also great customer service when I arrived to pick up my order !

Really exceptional breakfast/brunch food!!
The good: obviously the food. Seriously everything was so fresh, flavorful, and the presentation all very fun. Vicious beignets come with a yummy strawberry compote with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. To die for, seriously met my expectation. Definite order for the table. For my meal I ordered the Silence of Hams and wow this hit the spot. The biscuit was perfectly salty and the melted cheese binded to the biscuit keeping it together, otherwise I fear it might’ve crumbled apart. Nonetheless still delicious. I typically only like ham once or twice a year, and this was a define YUM! Would order again and again. I really liked the self serve bar for butter, jam, etc. Friends ordered various juices and they all said they were so fresh! If it weren’t for that insane line I would’ve gone back to get some. Last, the ambiance was cute and was very clean.
The mehh: this is *not* a server attending a table style restaurant. Reminds me of ordering at Panera, you get a number and then they serve you at the table. I did not know that and made that mistake with a group of friends on a very busy Sunday. Nothing wrong with that, but truthfully had we known that we probably wouldn’t have gone despite how good the food is. For how popular this place is (rightfully so), that way of ordering is really inefficient. The line was out the door, and for whatever reason was not going anywhere. Maybe short staffed I really don’t know but that will deter me from ever going back in person. I will order ahead to pick up but will likely not return in person because of how ineffective that ordering process was. If there was a QR code on the table with an associated table number to order online (there is an online ordering option but for to go orders only) and deliver to the table that would have completely changed my experience. It’s 2026. For such a yummy place, the service logistics is sadly not it.

If you go, maybe try a week day or don’t make the rookie mistake of going with a big group on a Sunday! 😅

I didn’t get anything too exciting, just a plain chicken biscuit with potatoes and orange juice, but everything was very good. The fresh-squeezed (or pressed) orange juice was top-notch, and the service was very friendly. I’m not from the area, but I would definitely return.

We were in SC for a few days and decided to visit Viscious Biscuit. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and filling without weighing us down. As a coffee lover, I appreciate a good cup of coffee. The coffee was fantastic. Last but most importantly, the service was great! Asja, the cashier, was friendly, helpful, and was almost better than coffee with her vibrant energy. When asking her about the menu, she took us on a food tour. (She could be a guide on the food channel.) We will definitely return!
