I had a very positive first impression, an employ was picking up trash from the parking lot and the inside was pretty clean for a Waffle House. Unfortunately that’s where it ended. I ordered the All Star with scrambled eggs and sausage patties with coffee to drink. The eggs and grits came out first and the eggs were fried and then somewhat chopped but definitely not scrambled. Asked for scrambled again and the recooked them, but this time they were fried and then finely chopped. Never been to a Waffle House before where they couldn’t scramble eggs. I gave up on the eggs after that. The sausage patties finally came out after 15 minutes and after 25 minutes total the waffle was brought out but without any butter. Never did get a refill on my coffee. I could understand some of this if they were swamped, but they just weren’t. Surely the manager will read this feed and make corrections. I eat at Waffle House a lot as I travel for work. Would like to see this one succeed.

Had to travel to Ft. Jackson in Columbia, SC. We don't eat fast food, 🤢. So Waffle House was the choice, you can watch them cook your food, and we had an awesome server.

Just what you'd expect. Food never cooked the same, seems like new menu's with price changes everytime we visit, not very clean, and some good wait staff and some not. Egg surcharge lifted but prices increased. Seems greedy by corporate bean counters.

I tell you what the morning grill master is the man. Think he is Jamaican. That man can cook some eggs. The service is fast and friendly. This has to be my favorite waffle house in the Columbia, Lexington, Irmo area.

I visited yesterday 5/16/25. It was around 5. There were no customers only the two staff were present. I’ve been eating at The Waffle House for 30 years and last night was the best experience I’ve had all around. Thank you. I highly recommend the establishment.
