Just ordered from Store on Farrow rd Columbia SC my sandwich went in the trash. The bread that was supposed to be toasted SOAKED I MEAN SOAKED IN GREASE!!! Why would a cook serve something like that. We had a large delivery from work reason I couldn't take it back. At work still hungry. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE. WAS ORDERED ON 2/27/25 So who ever the cook was you should be FIRED. YOUR SCORE IS ZERO

My family and I arrived around 12:45. We were able to walk right in and sit down without any issues. It seemed like the place wasn’t too busy. As we were about to sit a young lady with green hair said , ‘Someone will be with you.’ I thought, ‘Okay, cool.’ The family started chatting. Then, I noticed that the young man at the register was on his phone. The cooks started arguing, waitress with the green hair walked past us twice without saying a single word. Instead, it seemed like they were preparing for a takeout order. It was completely unacceptable. We waited for 15 minutes without even being asked what we wanted to drink. Finally, we left. The staff started laughing and saying, ‘Well, that was a bit of a mess.’ I couldn’t agree more. The operation manager, store manager, shift leader, and all the team members should be ashamed and need to be retrained on what customer service is. The one reason my I’m giving one star instead of no stars is because the acknowledgement when I FIRST walked in.

It's always just okay at Waffle Houses. This location has no honey and you can get a cup of hot water ( to put your half clean silverware in to clean).

I travel extensively within our state for my career so I do eat at waffle house all over the state regularly. Most of the time it's a very good experience.The staff is very friendly. That was not the case on this particular day at this particular location.
Food was standard WH, nothing exceptional but nothing negative. I just felt more thrown together than cooked together. While the cook was tending to food on the grill, she would walk over to the side counter and eat her breakfast.
Service. Substandard. No one greeted us which is the standard of waffle house. When I would ask for things, and thank the waitress, there would be no response. It was just very cold and almost felt like I was inconvenient for our staff to ask for anything.
This is probably my 4th or 5th stop into this particular waffle house, as it is near one of the doctor's offices that I frequent, but I will not be back.

Do not go here in the morning, they cook one thing at a time, took over a hour to get my food and then had to send it back because it was completely wrong, yet they claim it was like that because it was busy, restaurant was not even full.
I came in to order some eggs with cheese and I seen the cook finish cooking my eggs and instead of cleaning it out in the sink and just used a dirty wash cloth off the counter and wiped it out and threw it back under the stove. I barely wanna eat my eggs but I been on that Hennessy and I gotta feed it ??
