Is it too much to ask that the servers call the names for orders that were placed on the app?
Have gone in there 2 times and were told they were not serving at the time. They weren’t closed, just weren’t serving.

Corporate policy to only offer take-out late night lost me as a customer. WH is a late night go to because they are the only restaurant open, I do not want take-out when I go there.

20% Tip for To-Go Orders?! A waffle cracker and three pieces of partially cooked bacon cost me $9.60. Time to grab the box of Hungry Jack!

Stopped in for a quick bite before driving up to Greenville. My server Lindsay was awesome, food was surprisingly good. Much better than the WH by me. She made sure I had refills and was patient about me being a picky eater. Cooks did great, will definitely be back.

Dear Waffle House Management,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the extremely poor service and unprofessional conduct I experienced at Waffle House Store #847, located at Clemson Road and I-20, on October 26,2025 around 2:00 PM.
When my family and I arrived, there were only about three customers in the restaurant and two employees working behind the counter. Despite the small crowd, it took an unusually long time for our waitress to come to the table. When she did, she appeared irritated and displayed an attitude toward me and my daughter while taking our order.
Afterward, she began slamming dishes loudly into the sink, creating a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. Several other customers also noticed and left the restaurant during this time.
When our food was served, my order was incomplete and incorrect. I ordered a steak with hash browns, onions, and well-scrambled eggs. The steak came first, but I did not receive my hash browns or eggs until I had already finished the steak. When they finally arrived, the eggs were soft-scrambled instead of well-scrambled, and the hash browns were not prepared as ordered.
My daughter’s order (a hamburger with bacon, hash browns, scrambled hard eggs, and a waffle) was also incomplete—she never received her waffle. My son’s order of hash browns and ham was never served at all.
Throughout our visit, the waitress avoided our table, continuing to slam dishes and act frustrated. I eventually stood up and politely said, “I know you have an attitude today, but we need some items at our table.” She brought over tomatoes and mayonnaise but ignored the rest of our missing items.
When we got ready to leave, I told her that due to her attitude and the incomplete service, my meal needed to be removed from the bill. She ignored me and walked off. At the register, I told her that this was the worst service I had ever received, especially since I am a regular customer at that location. She then replied loudly, “Don’t you see I’m the only one working in here?” I responded that I understood she was short-staffed, but there was no reason to be rude. She then shouted, “I can have that attitude up here if I want to!”
At that point, I began recording the incident for my protection. I asked another employee for the waitress’s name, but she stated she didn’t know who the waitress was because she had been sent from another store. I then asked her to go back and find out the waitress’s name. She initially said she didn’t have to, so I rephrased and politely said, “Can you please go back and find out her name?” She later told me the waitress had already left for the day.
Additionally, no employees were wearing name tags, and no manager was present on site at any point during this incident. A man named Jose, who said he was a manager at the Camden, SC location, arrived later but stated that he was not the manager of this store. Even he was unable to obtain the waitress’s name because she refused to give it.
In total, I paid $52 and some change for a meal that was incomplete, served incorrectly, and handled with extreme disrespect. Given the unprofessional behavior, lack of proper supervision, and poor food service, I believe a full refund is warranted. I also request that appropriate action be taken regarding the staff’s conduct and the lack of management oversight at this location.
I have video evidence of the incident and am willing to provide it upon request.

Our waitress was great. Haley had another table giving her gruff and she smiled through it ... Fixed the problem.... A glass of water that couldn't be carried to the table on the first trip... Then continued to be full service to them and us.

Went in just after 9pm on a Saturday night, was told we had to wait on 3rd shift to come in to order, were waiting on the server and a cook. Could not order and staff on hand were unsure how long exactly before 3rd shift would arrive so we left.
The place needs to be cleaned. Asked them to sweep under the table and she left it over near the wall. Food was hot and descent. Place needs a wall to wall cleaning!!!.
