Visiting the South for the first time, we had to check out a Waffle House. This one was right by our hotel, so we had breakfast before leaving town, and we loved it! Super friendly greeting when we arrived, very fast service. And the food was delicious! We had a chocolate chip waffle with bacon, a grits bowl with sausage, egg, and cheese, and the 2-egg breakfast with toast, chicken sausage, and the scattered, smothered, and covered hash browns (cooked with grilled onions and cheese). Everything was great - the eggs were perfectly cooked to over-medium, those hash browns were fantastic, the waffle was really good, and the grits were yummy. Good value too - couldn't eat here all the time (for health reasons), but will definitely come back!

Food was not great, grits were hot, but the bacon was chewy. I had to grab my own utensils as the waiter forgot. He seemed new, he was very confused. He was nice tho. Thankfully, I sat right next to the holder. The place smelled like bleach, which means it was clean, but nobody wants to smell bleach while they eat. Makes your food taste like bleach. I think thats all I have to say about my experience.
I will never come back to this Waffle House ever again. The rudeness welcome I have ever received. Why would I spend my hard earned money in a place that treat you like there doin you a favor. I wasn’t even the only one. If ur thinking of something quick don’t come here
We've visited two weekends in a row. Our waitstaff Brittany greeted us with a smile and a friendly welcome in. We were glad to be able to have her as our waitstaff each time. She was very attentive. We felt welcome & the food was excellent.

This is a warning: Please DO NOT EAT HERE. When I cam in, there were ants crawling all over the table. So I sat at the next table (I should’ve left but was starving). The server took the menus off the table with the ants and tried to put them on our table. I said I needed her to give us different menus because the table she grabbed them from were full of ants. She gave me different menus and said there was nothing they could do about the ants! 🫩. That was my last time eating in a ghetto Waffle House…every one in Columbia is ghetto!!!
