I decided to stop in for a quick bite during my lunch break. All I can say is, Don't sleep on The Woody's lunch! I got the fried pork chop, Mac n cheese, fried okra and rice and gravy. All of it was on point. And this has GOT TO BE THEEE biggest pork chop I've ever had smh. Seasoned just right and fried perfectly. Please don't me when I tell you that it was mouth watering. They have daily specials. I gotta get back here on a Friday because I've been warned about their fish and shrimp plate. Lawd help me!? SHALOM

We were in town for the day and stopped by for lunch after exploring the State House grounds and Main Street. Everyone was friendly. The musical performer was lovely. But the highlight was the food. My son had the banana stuffed French toast. I had the smoked balogna sandwich - which was amazing. Our best meal in Columbia.

Friday night and idk about returning, place was fine but DJ seems to be stuck in early/mid 2000s, only genre he played up to date music was trap music and that was one song. Not one current song. My night was defined when he played LMFAO, Sexy and I know it. $10 cover charge drinks reasonably priced. I requested anything afrobeats about a hour ago and I just heard Sweetie, My Type(2019) and that has been the closest we've gotten to current music.

Ok, but could have been a lot better. I ordered the patty melt, medium, with regular fries. It was well done, very dry, lacked seasoning, and cheese was small. It also had waffle fries, not regular. My wife had the chicken quesadilla, nothing to write home about. The appetizers were the best part. Cheese sticks were the best part of our meal.

Not a bad place, pretty fun to be honest, it takes a while to get your drinks ? though but only because the lines are very busy and crowded bc it’s a bar and night club , pretty good music there the dance floor gets super crowded

Had the worst experience with the staff at the door. Came down to the Woody on Main because it was looking like a whole vibe. As I was in line three YT women were in front of me and the guy at the door with the Reno 911 mustache and glasses let them in without checking their ID nor charging them $10. When I approached he stated ID and it's $10 cover charge. That would not have been an issue but it was like you let $30 walk in in-front of me and when it came to me why are you ID'ing me and charging me? He proceeds to say oh one is a staff member and stated that the other two girls were her cousin. But mind you they look very young. As a professional establishment on a Saturday night why risk if I or the young lady that I was with were an undercover and you just violated many laws because you don't know if the women that you let in are underage and the establishment services alcohol. But the catcher is he then begins to be unprofessional and argue with me. It felt like discrimination and isn't any better then it was before. The staff at the door needs to be trained and I was very disappointed considering we were looking for a good time and you are now in a location that has more traffic. Ya'll will loose out on customers like myself who is willing to spend money and have a good time.

So my first time going to the Woody was last night. Seemed like a decent place until the server kept my full $20 and didn't return change. My best friend ordered 3 buttery nipple shots with a total of $20.70ish. So I then ordered 2 of the same shots and the server charged me the same price. When I questioned where my change was another server was like that's how much it is for 2 shots. Well 2 shots and 3 shots are not the same price. The fact that they kept my change is disgusting and then tried to justify it. I will not return.

Bartenders were extremely rude. I’ve never been to a bar where i’ve been treated the way my friends and i were treated. Never going back and not recommending to anyone. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Grown Folks fun, alert! This place is a whole vibe. The music was good with lots of variety. Most were dancing and everyone looks like they were having a great time. The crowd was comfortable and a perfect mix of diversity. The drinks were affordable but it was hard as heck to get one. Even though there was no line and quite a few bartenders , we stood at the bar a good 10 minutes trying to get someone’s attention. They just didn’t seem to see us. But - my cranberry vodka cost seven dollars. They have two floors. Good music played on both. The bottom floor was pretty interesting. I was not 100% sure of the use of that space. There was also an outdoor smoking area with pretty good lounge seating. Located directly on busy Main Street. The area is patrolled continuously all night. From the time we spoke to the bouncer, till the time we left at 2 AM, I had an awesome time. I also felt safe the entire time. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions.I grew up in Columbia and was happy to see that Main Street looks to have come back alive like it was in my teenage years. I really liked this place. Lots of accessible parking in front of the building. Not kid or dog friendly, no fireplace and no booster seats.#TTIP: It cost $10 to get in after 10 PM. I was told that is the norm. So you know what to do - get there early!Parking: Plenty of street parking - pay attention to the signs sometimes you have to pay and sometimes you don’tKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at allWheelchair accessibility: Lots of accessible parking in front of the building. Accessible seating upstairs.
