El Chingon Mexican Restaurant #2

Absolutely love eating here with my boyfriend. We go on regular dates here all the time. Love it! Especially, the Pollo Loco. You have to try it , and the street tacos are amazing!

BREAKFAST!!! I believe only on Saturdays, but absolutely wonderful breakfast. Young man serving us was attentive to our requests. Value priced. And I was able to add 3 pieces of fried fat back for munching later. WOO HOO!!!

American 1 meat and 2 vegetables at an Mexican restaurant not what we were expecting. Did not eat food because all three dishes I wanted were out. Server was great and very understanding. Probably will not be back

I was excited when I saw a Mexican restaurant opening in Cowpens. This is not a Mexican restaurant. The first time we went to get food after church they weren’t even selling Mexican food. Just meat and threes. They seem to focus more on country style food. Very bizarre business model.

This place used to be a great spot but tonight we stopped in for a quick bite and was very disappointed. Manager unprofessional and never apologized for forgetting to serve the food. Previous owners much better.

Did not get to eat. They made my order for delivery. Brought my girlfriend’s food out but not mine. She finished her meal and I was still waiting so I asked about it. The explained that it was set up for delivery and was just sitting on the counter for 35-40 minutes. They then started putting new chips on a plate and grabbing the toppings of my nachos with their hands and putting it onto the new chips. I told the manager that it was unacceptable., they acked like I was being unreasonable about it. I sat down for a bit, thought about it and decided to pay for what we had and leave. I understand that mistakes happen. But the way they treated me after speaking up was not the way you treat customers. They acted like they really didn’t even care. I won’t be back

The servers were really nice! Complimentary chips and you get to pick your own salsa!! Good menu variety. They also sell American food on certain days!!

Picked up lunch on two different Sundays. Veggie plates are awesome. My Mother and l ate half for one meal and the other half of our plate for another. On Sunday, they make home cooked southern lunch.

We used El Chingon to cater a birthday party for my daughter and it was SO GOOD! The food was so delicious and service is unmatched. Great family restaurant!

Not sure about the rest of the menu but the steak fajitas are amazing! Would highly recommend
