“The BEST... place and owners in these parts. 🥇 Location is perfect for lake days on Moultrie and Marion, cruising the canal, fishing of all sorts and day trips to the coast. Be hard pressed to find better folks than owners, Tony and Stephanie. We've found, and been able to enjoy, the Summer "vacation" state of mind we've needed. “This is some of the BEST soul food I have ever had! It is best to call ahead because the wait can be long. As a MI girl, we don't get good cooking like this, especially from a little out of the way road side diner. You can also get a cold beer or 2 while you wait!”

“Hands down the best full service fish camp on the Santee Cooper Lakes! The new owners are very nice folks and definitely hands on ! I am impressed with the upgrades made to the facilities and restaurant menu. Absolutely recommend this camp. Please know that fishing is the focus of this business and it is not a five star resort! It’s a fish camp!!”

“I work in the area and there really isn't much around in the way of food. That being said I was very hesitant to even try anything but I've had the take out before and it was pretty good. Today however I was treated to the buffet. I had the hamburger steak smothered with gravy, mashed potatoes, pintos, lima beans and a roll along with sweet tea. Everything was well seasoned and the portions, especially the double meat, were generous. For the price what you're getting is a steal. If you're in the area and hungry I recommend it.”

“2nd time here. First time was not a really good experience. We wrote it off to us going late. We arrived at 7:15 and they close at 8. So, we decided to try it again. We arrived around 5. The food on the buffet was exactly the same as the first time there. The food had obviously been on the buffet for quite some time. Most of it was luke warm at best and dried out. Empty desert trays were not filled. Additionally, we observed a young man fixing a to go order and placed some of the food in the tray with UN-gloved hands. Food needs to be fresh and hot. You seriously need to do better.”

“We went last week for lunch. It was great, had not been in about 2 years or so but Wanda never fails. She spoke to us as soon as we walked in. Chatted on and off while we were there. If you haven’t been there, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.”
