Hands down the best full service fish camp on the Santee Cooper Lakes! The new owners are very nice folks and definitely hands on ! I am impressed with the upgrades made to the facilities and restaurant menu. Absolutely recommend this camp. Please know that fishing is the focus of this business and it is not a five star resort! It’s a fish camp!!
We had a great time and can’t wait to go back!! Captain Mark Stanley put us on the cats! Everybody in our group got to catch some! Yay! Several big ones. One that weighed about 31 pounds. I would recommend Blacks Camp & Mark Stanley for great fishing.

Blacks Camp is a well-maintained and family-friendly establishment that has undergone significant renovations under the ownership of Matt and Lori. Guests consistently praise the clean and up-to-date facilities, as well as the professional and courteous staff. The restaurant offers a delicious menu, including cooked-to-order burgers and wings, as well as a popular breakfast buffet. The boat launch area is also a popular feature, providing easy access to the water and a range of supplies. Visitors often enjoy launching their boats and then stopping by the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Many customers say the cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks are the best in the entire SC low country. The restaurant is part of a larger area that includes a fully stocked convenience store and bait and tackle shop, perfect for fishing needs. The dining space is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with friendly staff always ready to assist. Besides the food, the location offers plenty of parking, a boat ramp, campground, and motel, making it an ideal lakeside getaway for fishing, lodging, and dining.
