⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Review – Sonic Drive-In, Darlington, SC
Visited around 5 PM on a Friday, and I understand that’s a peak time—things were definitely busy. Stalls 1–8 were full, and while stalls 9 & 10 are marked for mobile pickup, the app wouldn’t recognize them. Stalls 11–14 were hit-or-miss (maybe two working), also full, and the drive-thru had a line.
With my party of 3, we decided to sit at the picnic tables and checked in on the app using stall...read full review
For your premium burrito, it should be listed there are jalapenos in it. It is not, and not everybody likes jalapenos, like Me!!! Also when it is requested that your food be "cooked to order" your employees have no idea what that means.
My whole order was wrong! Ordered 2 wraps, they broke a chicken tender between the two and I got a half order of my medium tater tots. Also ordered a cherry limeade with lite ice and had a whole cup of ice instead. Then the chocolate chuck brownie blast I had to substitute bc they were out of Reese’s, Oreos and butterfingers after I ordered the Oreo big scoop cheesecake blast and paid, had not one niece of brownie much less any chocolate in it!!! Do BETTER sonic. Picture in...read full review

Sonic Drive-In offers a variety of meals, including a $3 double cheeseburger with bacon, tots, and a drink. Customers can also enjoy foot long hot dogs and tater tots. The grilled cheese sandwich with pickles is a good choice, although the $3 fudge sundae was small and lacking in toppings. The staff is friendly, with special mention of an employee named Brian who provided excellent service. Recently, the restaurant has been busy with new staff and ownership training, and while mistakes happen, the owner was very nice and apologetic. Some customers experienced rude service at the stall, but car hop Amarion saved the day with high-level customer service. The parking area is clean and quiet, and food arrives hot and fresh, though some items like the fried pickles have a soft crust and small portions. Despite mixed experiences, Sonic Drive-In is recommended for its tasty food and great service.
