Always the best bbq - ribs fall off the bone tender, delicious pulled pork, baked beans with a delicious kick! Don’t forget the peach cobbler!
Was genuinely surprised. Looks unassuming but was amazing food. Would recommend some more windows/light and some music
Pig Out 2 catered our 50th class reunion and made everything so easy and seamless. Everyone is still talking about how it was the best bbq, sauce and baked beans they have ever had. And the peach cobbler is always 10/10. Wonderful people and fabulous food.
Ate here on Friday and while the food tasted great, I became seriously ill shortly after.
We called the restaurant simply to let them know what I had eaten, in case anyone else reported getting sick. Instead of showing concern or appreciation for the heads-up, the staff became defensive and incredibly rude—insisting it couldn’t have been their food and that it must’ve come from somewhere else. Even said, “What do you want us to do about it?”
I wasn’t looking for anything—just doing the courteous thing by making them aware.
Their dismissive and hostile attitude sealed the deal for me: I won’t be back.
It’s a shame to see a local business handle a serious situation with such a poor response.
If I could give negative stars I would. My boyfriend got food poisoning from here Friday evening which was so bad had to take him to the ER the next day. When we called to tell them they were soooo rude and told us off. Never going back.
I eat here on my lunch hour once a week. Always great food and service!

Typical SC BBQ joint atmosphere with a decent lunch crowd when I arrived. I tried the brisket and Brunswick stew. Both excellent. Brisket was moist and tender with a nice smoke ring imparting a balanced flavor of hickory wood and spices. Brunswick stew had depth of flavor with a good balance of tomato and meat. Typical red sauce in mild or hot but the hot mustard was tasty and unique, pairing well with the brisket. Solid stop

100% recommend. Not only are they kind and patient with patrons, the food is amazing! We came on a day that hardly anyone in Spartanburg had power and they were amazing! Food and staff!
Brisket was very dry to the point it started to crumble. Peach cobbler is great though.

We ? the ribs, baked beans, potato salad, and cole slaw. The only thing I feel need added is more "portions" to the sides.?????????

Great food, atmosphere and customer service. Will definitely return when I’m in the area. Only problem I had was deciding between hot, mild or mustard sauce. So just get all 3.
