“The pork belly banh mi sandwich is it! The pork belly is thick and fried so it has a nice bite and the flavor develops more as you chew. This is not your authentic banh mi sandwich; rather, this is a good fusion take. The pickled jelpinao is a nice tough and cuts the heaviness down.”

“The food is great and the service is always so good as well. Tonight, our two month old was not the happiest, so the owner asked if she could help us with her so we could enjoy our meal. Our daughter loved her and went right to sleep in her arms.So thoughtful and helpful.”

“Line was out the door but moved super fast. Pros: The portions are massive, super delicious! Custard doesn’t compete with Culver’s but it’s still good! A variety of choices for sauces (self serve). Cons: Pepsi products Go try it!”

“Great spot to check out for chicken sandwiches and good drinks. I like that this building was once a car shop/gas station, and there's a few nice features left to remind you too- garage roll up doors, tire rack... Indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor is dog friendly. Great selection of items to choose from, and a nice drink menu too including a couple on tap! They also have a great variety in sauces too! There's a Korean sauce, cheerwine bbq, hot honey, a white sauce.... Lots to choose from. The staff has all been great so far too. There is also a couple fun play parks right behind the restaurant; Carolina Panthers park and a Subaru Bike park. Great way to build up an appetite before, or burn it off after. They also host car events at the Flock Shop too.”

“My family went here for a late lunch Sunday. we had a salad with turkey, smoked chicken and ribs. So little bit of everything I would say. Food was good, the chicken was juicy and the ribs were tender. The banana pudding was just ok but not bad if you know what I mean. So the cons and none of it really horrible there was a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk. That was very bad sign of the times unfortunately. Also, I get wanting to be comfortable at work but one of the staff looked as if she rolled right out of bed for work and didn’t bother to wear a bra. I am sorry but if you are a bit more blessed in that area at least put on a tank top under your thin shirt because the nips were on full display. My husband and my teen son both noticed. It was just a bit much. So as I said nothing too horrible and nothing to do with the food as it was good, serving size was decent for the price.”

“I LOVE coming here!! I’m not a big red meat person however I make an expectation when I come here the southerner is out of this world especially with their fries!! ?? they say they’re homemade and I 100% believe them. They have plenty of delicious chicken and vegetarian options as well! (The chicken salad is too die for and you get SO much) The owners are really sweet and you can tell they care about their customers! Di, who makes all their deserts AND buns, makes some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had!! I will 100% be back and recommending to everyone I know.”

“Great pub! My wife and I were in town to see the symphony at Twitchell Auditorium on Sat, 4/20. The fish and chips and Hangover Pie were great. Unfortunately, I cannot remember our waitress' name, but we ate outside around 1:30ish and she had wavy hair and some cool Grateful Dead lightning earrings. She was amazing and very attentive. Would def go back!”

“This was my second time coming here and FR8 yard is definitely a great place to grab a drink and hang out.I had the Tiki Power Hour Guava Papaya Sour on draft which was exactly what I needed to enjoy the nice warm weather in the courtyard.Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place! They also have a nice long wheelchair ramp to make it more accessible which I thought was awesome.Parking: I went during the weekday after they had just opened so I was able to find a place to park on the street right near the FR8yard.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a very nice long wheel chair ramp that led from the side of upper street all the way into the courtyard where everyone sat and where the bar was.”

“This place might just be my favorite restaraunt in Spartanburg. In the south where most of our options are burgers, chicken, BBQ, Chinese food, and pizza; something different is such a welcome addition. And not to mention the food is DELICIOUS! The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the gyros are full of meat, the hummus is fresh, and their baklava is really delicious too. If you haven't tried this place you are really missing out! Their patio is lovely to eat in also, especially with the weather warming up.”

“The art that splashes the walls here is just a small taste of what is about to be an amazing lunch if you eat here. All food I could tell was ten to twenty dollars a plate. Majority being on the cheaper side. Greeted with chips and mild/hot salsa seconds from entering the door in a packed restaurant. Me and my parents tried several different meals. ( The bistick Mexicano I can't recommend more it was utterly delicious) This is a hard working restaurant that respects the flavors of Mexico.”

“If you’re in “Sparkle City” aka Spartanburg and looking for a great latte or ice coffee, then look no further. Located off of Hwy 29, Hidden Bean is literally a Hidden Gem in terms of location and caffeinated offerings. It’s located in the basement of an old house, the atmosphere is quaint, eclectic and filled with the aroma of fresh baked goods.Give the Honey Latte a try. It’s not too sweet and topped with just the right amount of caramel drizzle.”

“I was looking for a quick bite and found the SamMitch Shop. My GPS took me to the back parking lot, but I wasn't sure who those parking spaces were for, so I decided to park in the public parking lot across the street, which offered 2 free hours. When I arrived, there was one person waiting on their food. Additionally, there was only one person taking and making the orders as well, so the service seemed a tad bit slow. The inside is pretty small with limited seating, but there was a bunch of seating outside. It was my turn to order and I opted for The Cherise and a bag of chips. Everything is al la carte. I had a water in the car, so while my sandwich was being made, I walked back to my car to get it. When I came back, I sat outside and waited for my sandwich to come out. I was able to eat almost a full bag of chips before it came. I may have been counting the minutes since I was really hungry, but it did seem to take awhile for it to come out. However, when it finally arrived, it was good and I enjoyed it. Overall, it was a pretty solid sandwich shop.”

“A few coworkers and I were passing through on our way back home to Manitoba, Canada, and stopped in for a meal. Everything was so delicious, and the people were so warm and friendly! Would highly reccomend it to anyone looking for great food, cooked with love. If I'm ever back in Spartanburg I'll be back! Thanks again J & G, for showing some Canadian boys what southern hospitality means!”

“I regularly visit coffee shops all over Spartanburg, Polk, and Greenville Counties and have seen the full gamut of what they have to offer. One thing I've learned is that family-owned coffee shops too often start out great and then begin suffering in quality or customer service as the months/years go by. Mocha's Mug, I have to say, is one of the rare coffee shops that started out as a great spot...and is now superb. It seems like they're always making tiny improvements to this or that (already good) thing, meaning that the overall appeal of this shop just keeps growing! Their enduring commitment to serving their best and greeting each customer with a smile is truly the mark of Mocha's Mug.Pros:- *Fresh,* delicious bakery items (Literally everything I've tried here has been outstanding...and often still warm from the oven when ordering first thing in the morning! Their chocolate chip scones are the best I've had in the Upstate.)- Smooth, flavorful coffee (+made with local milk)- Positive vibes / warm, feel-good environment- Smiling, relational / customer-focused ownersThankful for this coffeehouse par excellence the owners have brought to Inman!”

“I stopped by there the other day and got 2 pulled pork sandwich plates for my brother and myself. My brother had hush puppies and baked beans with his. You would have to know my brother to know that if he says something is good, it's doggone good, like slap your mama kind of good. He said his sandwich and hush puppies were VERY GOOD, WHOA! I couldn't decide on two sides, so I got two of the sweet potato crumbles. Boy, am I glad that I got two servings of that. I'm a bit of a sweet potato snob. You'd better make them right if you want my seal of approval. Well, they got these so, so right. Some of the best sweet potatoes I've ever put in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, the pulled pork sandwich was good also. It's just that these sweet potatoes were everything. If you like a good sweet potato casserole or soufflé, then do yourself a favor and stop in and get a serving or two of their sweet potato crumble. While you're there, grab a pulled pork sandwich as well. BBQ is kinda their thing too.”
