“Wow quality of food has improved so much since we were last here. Had lunch my $19 express chicken schnitzel was delicious and perfect portion. My husband got the $25 steak which was cooked just the way he liked. Staff were friendly and we had great service. Only small downfall was the coke was terrible. Highly recommended.”

“Mike and I make an excuse to drive from Asheville, NC to Costco in Spartanburg, SC so we can have Sunday lunch at J&G's. Mike loves their fried chicken and I love their veggies, especially their fried okra and collard greens (I'm a vegetarian and they don't cook their veggies in meat or meat products!). From our first visit a few months ago and every visit since, everyone there, especially Bobby and John, make you feel like family. Mike has cancer so it's a good feeling to see him eat so well and enjoy himself so much. And don't forget the banana pudding...delicious!!”

“the waitress Tina needs another job cause being a waitress isn't the job for her she DROPPED 2 boxes on floor behind me she could have sat them down instead she rushed us to order never came back and asked us if we needed coffee had to get up 2 times to get more when she cleared a table of it's dishes she dropped them down on other dishes so that was very loud also she was right at my table and didn't even look my way then when we was waiting to pay in line instead of saying excuse me sir she once again was rude saying "you need to move" so I could complain about the food also but I'll jus complain about "Tina" the waitress. bad service can ruin the whole experience of eating here never going to waste my money or time again the rest of staff was great though..put Tina to doing dishes in the back so others don't have to experience her being disrespectful”
