Mike and I make an excuse to drive from Asheville, NC to Costco in Spartanburg, SC so we can have Sunday lunch at J&G's. Mike loves their fried chicken and I love their veggies, especially their fried okra and collard greens (I'm a vegetarian and they don't cook their veggies in meat or meat products!). We went for the first time to have lunch at J & G Family Restaurant in Spartanburg. We travel from Hendersonville NC buy fresh fish and seafood next door frequently and always saw people happily carrying out food out of this restaurant. The reviews were good so I thought we’d give them a try. Betty took our order, we sat down and our food soon arrived.
