Mike and I make an excuse to drive from Asheville, NC to Costco in Spartanburg, SC so we can have Sunday lunch at J&G's. Mike loves their fried chicken and I love their veggies, especially their fried okra and collard greens (I'm a vegetarian and they don't cook their veggies in meat or meat products!). A few coworkers and I were passing through on our way back home to Manitoba, Canada, and stopped in for a meal. Everything was so delicious, and the people were so warm and friendly! Would highly reccomend it to anyone looking for great food, cooked with love. If I'm ever back in Spartanburg I'll be back! Thanks again J & G, for showing some Canadian boys what southern hospitality means!

The food was great! But let me just say this. The gentlemen who took my order was KIND! Did not mind answering questions about the menu. This is rare in Spartanburg. People can get rude and uptight and too busy in general. I appreciate good food and service. Thanks you guys keep up the good work.
