The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the gyros are full of meat, the hummus is fresh, and their baklava is really delicious too. If you haven't tried this place you are really missing out! Their patio is lovely to eat in also, especially with the weather warming up.”

“What a neat spot, and with great food to boot! As a party of 4, we did 2 platters which allowed us to sample 8 meats (2 such being duck and rabbit!) and 6 sides! Though we are not bbq connoisseurs by any stretch, we found that to be a unique opportunity. There was great taste to the meat by itself, but there were also 4 great sauces to choose from (1 really hot, 1 sweet, 1 mustard, and 1 kind of in between). The Mac and cheese was excellent! This is usually a standard by which I rate bbq spots, and they passed the test! We also really enjoyed the caramel sweet potatoes, greens, and Brussels sprouts! And to top everything off, we had the Reese’s Krispie kreme bread pudding, how incredible! Great service and hospitality, we would definitely return!”
“Had a great dinner at Heirloom on a Saturday night. There was a good sized crowd so the service was a little slow. I had the pork belly with collards and the carolina gold rice. I also had the broccolini with cherry tomatoes.”
“We have had the best appetizers, cauliflower and bruessel sprouts, I have ever had. Normally I avoid to eat these vegetables but I changed my mind. This preparation was the best I could imagine. “How lucky were we to find this place they call Willy Taco while traveling though Spartenburg on our way back to Georgia. From the seemingly simple cheese quesadilla ordered by my daughter to the elegant assembly of fresh ingredients in my trio of menu selected tacos, when our food came out of the kitchen and landed on the table we knew right away we were in for a treat. I ordered the first three tacos on the extensive menu, and flavors packed in the Brisket barbacoa, Southern tide, and the Patagonia steak tacos were nearly more than my taste buds could handle. I can't wait to find an excuse to return to this little bar and grill for another chance to experience culinary bliss.”
“The pork belly banh mi sandwich is it! The pork belly is thick and fried so it has a nice bite and the flavor develops more as you chew. This is not your authentic banh mi sandwich; rather, this is a good fusion take. The pickled jelpinao is a nice tough and cuts the heaviness down.”

I like that this building was once a car shop/gas station, and there's a few nice features left to remind you too- garage roll up doors, tire rack... Indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor is dog friendly. Great selection of items to choose from, and a nice drink menu too including a couple on tap!They also have a great variety in sauces too! There's a Korean sauce, cheerwine bbq, hot honey, a white sauce.... Lots to choose from. The staff has all been great so far too.There is also a couple fun play parks right behind the restaurant; Carolina Panthers park and a Subaru Bike park. Great way to build up an appetite before, or burn it off after.They also host car events at the Flock Shop too.”

I’m not a big red meat person however I make an expectation when I come here the southerner is out of this world especially with their fries!! ?? they say they’re homemade and I 100% believe them. They have plenty of delicious chicken and vegetarian options as well! (The chicken salad is too die for and you get SO much) The owners are really sweet and you can tell they care about their customers! Di, who makes all their deserts AND buns, makes some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had!! I will 100% be back and recommending to everyone I know.”

“This was my second time coming here and FR8 yard is definitely a great place to grab a drink and hang out.I had the Tiki Power Hour Guava Papaya Sour on draft which was exactly what I needed to enjoy the nice warm weather in the courtyard.Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place!They also have a nice long wheelchair ramp to make it more accessible which I thought was awesome.Parking: I went during the weekday after they had just opened so I was able to find a place to park on the street right near the FR8yard.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a very nice long wheel chair ramp that led from the side of upper street all the way into the courtyard where everyone sat and where the bar was.”

“My husband and I are new to the area and have found our new FAVORITE PLACE!!!the service is fabulous and SO FAST, the people are super friendly (it's a lovely family owned business), the food is absolutely incredible (I had the flautas and they're the best I've had in a long time.. maybe even the best ever!) My husband got a combination platter and his favorite thing was the tómale that comes with the most amazing queso on top ?they have the most amazing decorations and bar area and they installed (safe) charging stations at each booth for convenience which is so cool!10/10 would recommend any one come visit any time. we'll definitely be coming back asap!!! and bringing family when they come to visit.”

The cuisine was not in my range of delectable satisfaction but would have been if I were raised to eat well. I seldom have steak or fish. If I had ordered it here, I'm sure I would have loved it. I recommend The Kennedy for the casual to well-dressed man and family who like a fine dining experience.”

“Really enjoy this brewery. The wheat/peach based Son of a Peach is amazing. It used to be available around Norris Lake in Tennessee but it is no longer distributed to this part of the country so I made a run from Cincinnati exclusively for picking up several cases. Well worthy the effort Also enjoyed the fish and chips which were perfect and brought out extremely fast. Great staff, great facility. Highly recommended.”

“I fully believe this to be the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The staff were very welcoming and continued to clean as they went. The staff didn’t leave each server to their own table but instead helped each other and checked in with other tables if they thought they may need something.However, what I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere. Regulars that have been coming here for 10 years were joking with staff and vice versa. It felt welcoming and at home. If I lived closer, this would be a regular weekend treat.”

“I love my Waffle House, food is most of the time good. I wish they would listen to me when making my eggs, I really don't like to see the white in my scrambled eggs. I ask them to please mix my eggs excessively while in the bowl (key to nice yellow fluffy eggs) but they never listen and I have to deal with hard scrambled eggs. Cooks need to at least know the basics of cooking techniques but it's the Waffle House so it is what it is. Also understanding griddle temperature is important as well so I won't have to deal with burnt and semi raw bacon at the same time. Again, I say it's the Waffle House so my expectations match my experience and so will this review ijs, do better.”

“I have been on a chicken tikka masala and butter chicken kick this last week and have only ever gone to Greenville to satisfy my cravings. Living in Boiling Springs I finally decided to look to see if there was anything closer. De Flavors came up by the Spartanburg YMCA and I was shocked. I called 50 minutes before closingto make sure they took phone orders as I couldn’t find any online menu.Placed an order for 2 orders of chicken tikka an order of butter chicken and 2 orders of garlic naan. Arrived at what appeared to be a little convenient store with front restaurant walk in, the atmosphere inside is not suited for sitting and eating but for pick up only. I waited 20 minutes for my food and was on my way $62 later.*My fault (no pictures attached of the food) all very bright, colorful and fragrant. My orders feed 5 and we still have left over chicken tikka, rice and naan. The flavor was so good a little spicer than what I like but I was able to manage and my husband was nothing but pleased. My craving was more than satisfied and I will be back very soon.Vegetarian options: As you can see in the menu he has many vegetarian options as well as vegan. Met a woman picking up her vegan meal while I waited and she stated she and her husband are regulars.Dietary restrictions: Many optionsParking: Although there are very few parking spots in front of the restaurant there is also plenty of parking beside the building and building sharing the lot.”

“We were in Spartanburg for a few hours and had to look elsewhere for lunch after our first pick (Cribb's) was too packed. Ike's looked like a "hole in the wall" but had great reviews so we tried it. Parking is in a dirt lot and the restaurant itself was small, crowded and loud, but a friendly atmosphere. We got a spot at the bar quicky and had a great server. I got the Redneck Reuben and husband got the Steak & Cheese, both with homemade chips. And we shared an order of the recommended fried pickles. All of it was delicious. Seemed to be a lot of regulars there so must be a favorite of locals. Highly recommended!Parking: Dirt lot. Crowded.”

The place was pretty empty (hello Christmas Eve, lol) but festively decorated with a huge nutcracker. Our food was hot and as ordered. I liked the fries a lot more than the burger but I always find those little meat pieces that throw chewing off when I eat ground beef. Nothing against the location. “This place might just be my favorite restaraunt in Spartanburg. In the south where most of our options are burgers, chicken, BBQ, Chinese food, and pizza; something different is such a welcome addition. And not to mention the food is DELICIOUS! The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the gyros are full of meat, the hummus is fresh, and their baklava is really delicious too. If you haven't tried this place you are really missing out! Their patio is lovely to eat in also, especially with the weather warming up.”

From the seemingly simple cheese quesadilla ordered by my daughter to the elegant assembly of fresh ingredients in my trio of menu selected tacos, when our food came out of the kitchen and landed on the table we knew right away we were in for a treat. I ordered the first three tacos on the extensive menu, and flavors packed in the Brisket barbacoa, Southern tide, and the Patagonia steak tacos were nearly more than my taste buds could handle. I can't wait to find an excuse to return to this little bar and grill for another chance to experience culinary bliss.”
