“Honestly, the first time being here. We got in before the church crowd came in for the meat and three lunch, we had breakfast. It was exactly what I've been looking for in a breakfast place. No frills, no "creme fresh stuffed pancakes" or whatever just good food and a decent price. The coffee was coffee, and the grits that I normally don't eat were really good. I'll be back for lunch or dinner and maybe one of those desserts because they looked pretty tasty. All I could think of was watching reruns of "Alice" when I was a kid.. much appreciated..“
“Food is pretty good. Being from Spartanburg Ricky’s was always a staple growing up. Hotdogs are always the way to go. Some other items such as their hamburgers could be better the patties have definitely been downgraded recently so they are fairly small. Other than that I highly recommend Ricky’s. The staff is always nice and always a great homey atmosphere!“

“I had Heather, who was so friendly and got everything tgat I ordered. Food was perfect ans served in a timely fashion. The staff on duty worked as a team, and the interaction was one of great comraderie. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The entire dining experience was absolutely perfect.Vegetarian options: Vegitable was offered on the menueDietary restrictions: I have a low carbohydrate diet with a low sodium restriction. This was met, and server suggested options as well. Meal was perfect.Parking: Lot was open and we'll lit with handicapped parking close to the entrance“
“We haven’t been to this Denny’s Restaurant for probably 2-3 years because when we were here on the last two or three visits it was filthy and both the food and service were awful. The servers looked so bad ( oily hair, dirty clothes and hand, etc.) that we didn’t even want to eat the food they brought to us. The serving time was terrible, too. Apparently, there is new management at this restaurant (on Reidville Rd., Spartanburg, SC) because when we walked in today, we were shocked!’ The place was clean, the server was clean and very kind, and the food was very good. We were pleasantly surprised when we decided to give it another chance after all this time!!“
