Food was delicious with a wonderfully simplistic menu of burgers, hot dogs, club sandwiches, & fries. With a smattering of some home cooking like hamburger steaks, deviled eggs, pickled beets & other offerings as well.Please try this little roadside diner-“

“George's On Murray is a great Diner! They have a topnotch service and a perfect Diner atmosphere. The Coleslaw was really delicious. A must try and recommended item. Their fried items are perfectly fried -not over or under fried- resembling fried items of a fine dine restaurant, but in a budget friendly way. I really hope they will maintain their quality in a budget friendly manner in the future too. I just love their Shrimp. The flounder plate is good too. I'm coming back to George's on Murray again and again for their Coleslaw and Shrimp, at the least.“

“It was almost 10:00 pm and I still had a 45 minute drive ahead of me. I stopped in Denny's in Anderson for coffee, and wound up ordering a meal. The service was wonderful. Prompt, pleasant and polite - the three p's of TIPS. Coffee was fresh and the food was cooked well. Care was given to presentation. I chose a salad as one of my sides. It was served in a dinner plate sized salad bowl! The chopped lettuce and shredded carrot base was covered with shredded cheese. The whole thing had a ring of croutons around the top, inside of which was a ring of grape tomatoes and sliced cucumber in the center. And no up-charge for it. Looks aside, it was fresh and good. I highly recommend Denny's in Anderson SC.Vegetarian options: I had a great fresh salad. There are vegetarian options, but I am more an omnivore and did not pay close attention to other options. Vegetarian selections are on the menue.“
