Me and my Fiance went inside. Sat down. And he ordered the shrimp and white fish with mashed potatoes and gravy , mac and cheese, fried okra. I ordered collar greens, mac and cheese, pinto beans and fried green tomatoes. The only thing that had flavor was the fried green tomatoes. Well we asked our waitress if we could just pay for the fried green tomatoes and the teas we had. Bc that's all we ate minus the few bites to try other dishes. She went and talked to the "boss" when she came back. She said . The boss said "not to worry about paying, but do not ever come back" ...... I'm sorry? How is this place still in business? We were willing to pay for what we liked. But it's not like we ate everything then said we didn't like it. That was the most childish confusing experience I've ever had in a "Family-oriented" restaurant. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE.

Every once in awhile, I get a craving for southern food. Well, this place nailed it, and I was able to satisfy my urges. Everything was super tasty!

A typical meat and three restaurant. Ordered food was OK, but the lettuce on the salad bar was browning and wilted.

If I could give 0 starts than I would. My husband and I went tonight and it was horrible! When we walked in the one waitress was on the phone and didn’t even notice us for 5 minutes. Then when we got the food my husband chicken didn’t have much meat at all, he could even eat one of the pieces because it was all fried too long to the point there was no meat. The beans and mac and cheese was bland. Then when we paid we normally leave tip in cash but when we said no to add tip on card she mumbled something under her breath. DO NOT GO! Bad service and bad food.

Our food was excellent and the customer service was fantastic! Friendly and nice. Kept a good check on us without being pushy. Shared with us when we paid. Just a wonderful experience all around. Our food was brought out in a very timely manner with a warm smile. It was delicious and service was welcoming! Will definitely visit again.

The food waa very medicore and not that good and thats coming from someone with a food addiction.

Additionally, the waitress was rude and after careful observation, she only was nice to certain races of people and rude to others.

Our meals came with bread and we had to get up and ask about it. She rudely said it comes with but we needed to have specified when ordering. I have never ordered anywhere that I had to specify items that came with...needless to say that we wont return.

Read excellent reviews and were very excited to try it. Drove 25 minutes to find that they were closed. Wouldn’t trust the hours online. Make sure to call ahead.

Small town diner with good portions of southern food. Went on a Wednesday at 6 pm. Only 1 customer in the house. I had shrimp and flounder and hubby had grouper. Folks, it's southern, most everything is fried. I also had the salad bar as a 4.99 add on, and it was fresh and very good. The jumbo shrimp were excellent, there were 5 big ones. My 2 pc flounder pretty much all breading, but the grouper was very good, 2 nice pieces for $13.99 with 3 sides. The cole slaw and tartar sauce were very thin,but otherwise it was a very good value. We will definitely come back.
