I went to Wayback Burger for the first time and it was the best burger I've ever eaten. I got the cheesy one with fries. The food was phenomenal and service was pleasant. The food was cooked to order so it took a little extra time, but I'll take hot food and longer wait than cold food any day. Prices were steep, but the quality was worth it.

We have had amazing service numerous times from Isaiah. He has super great inviting service. Every interaction has been super professional and always pleasant when asking for any request. The burgers (sweet Bourbon) are okay and fries are lack luster, and tator tots were either overcooked or undercooked. The service was good, and the cashier was polite. Price was appropriate for the quality of the food.

This place was absolutely amazing, food was fresh and served well, service was impeccable. Even their Caesar salad was great! The only think I don’t recommend is the red velvet cupcake shake! Not the fault of the employees at all but the flavored syrup needed for the “cupcake” flavor tastes like your drinking melted plastic! But totally not their fault, they don’t make the syrups ?. Will be back!

Omg!!! Found this place while looking for another place! Glad I saw this first. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and the cheesy burger…. WOW! I forgot the guy name that made my sandwiches (he had a beard & ponytail w/ glasses) ? Anyway, he made them exactly like I asked. Everyone was so attentive and polite. Next time I come thru Duncan SC…I’ll be sure to stop and I’ll be sure to tell a few friends.

Wow! What an amazing burger joint. Food was fresh and service was excellent. I loved the writings of their rules on the wall. Establishment was very clean. I highly recommend this place! I tried the A1 burger, Ghost pepper burger, tots, and cheese curds. All were made fresh and you can taste the quality of the food from the first bite. I can't wait to go back and try more of what they offer!
I really loved the burger but a young crew was working the night I went.it seemed like they were moving at a steady pace but it took a good while to get my order. Asi sat waiting on the food I kept noticing how they would seem to simultaneously look up and after that I just jept looking to ensure I saw them eyeing me. I don't know what that was about but it made me uncomfortable being as I couldn't see what was being done to my food from my stand point. I pay attention to what I feel needs to be paid attention to is all I'm saying. The only one that I felt was friendly and welcoming was the cashier. Even the guy that came from the back to hand me my food when I said "thank you" he said not a word.

Chicken BLT with grilled chicken: Chicken tasted boiled and had a very strange texture. Grossed me out and ended up throwing away 3/4 of the sandwich. 4 piece Chicken tenders: There were 3 and a 1/4 pieces. Literally the size of a tater tot and was charged for it. And they were bland. Definitely overpaid for this terrible food.
