“Just in town for the weekend and the reviews did not lie to us. This place is delicious and I would absolutely come back. I tried the chopped pork and brisket. Sides were delicious as well. Sweet tea hit the spot. All the sauces were good even the hot one per my son.“

“Maybe I've spoiled myself with frequent trips to Ruth's Chris, Halls, !and Justin's, but my most recent trip to Longhorn in Easley wasn't the best experience. To no fault of her own, the bartender was stretched thin with no help. We had to wait for everything, but so did everyone who sat in the bar area. The Ribeye I had was seasoned perfectly, but not cooked to order (medium). The steamed broccoli wasn't steamed, more like it came straight from the garden. I've had better experiences, this review was based off my most recent visit. I'd still give it another shot.“

“We had the rib and 1/2 chicken plate with sweet potato casserole and mac n cheese with bbq bread and cornbread, and the pulled pork and 1/2 chicken plate with baked beans and sweet potato casserole with bbq bread and cornbread. They offered 4 different types of bbq sauces which were all great and sitting on your table so you are free to use as much as you like without having to ask for more! This place was super clean and really nice!! The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive… the owner himself came around to make sure everything was great, refilled drinks, and was a really down to earth nice guy! 10/10 recommend!!!“

“I loved the Savannah Strawberry Chicken Salad - with raspberry vinaigrette dressing on the side. I will be returning for this dish for sure. Have to view the back of the menu to see it. We live nearby and had hamburgers, cornbread salad, and brisket. All were delicious. Great sauces for the meat. I would like to say from other reviews - that if you wanted more on the hamburger - let the staff know and they will make sure you are taken care of. Oh and the cornbread that day had jalapenos in it. They change the cornbread every now and then.“

“Just got my FAVORITE! teriyaki wings always really brighten my day when I have to work on the weekend and when i'm having a bad day during the week! I usually come in during the week when Beth is there (She's amazing!) Loved the girl that was there today that helped me out as well! Everyone is always super nice! “Incredible food and very friendly owners!! While The Parkette is known for its bbq, they also have daily lunch specials that change every day.What reeled me in was their Crawfish & Shrimp Étouffée. It’s definitely a unique offering for this area and so delicious! It has a generous amount of shrimp and crawfish in it, seasoned well, and a subtle amount of heat. I also got potato salad and their roasted veggies (fresh mushrooms ?). Loved all of it!The owner was also super kind to let me try a bite of their ribs, incredibly tender with a lovely smoky flavor.Also, I can never say “no” to banana pudding. Chunks of bananas and full of Nilla wafers… that’s important, ya know!? ?Definitely a hidden Pickens gem that’s worthy of your attention.“

“I have been dining at The Big Clock for 18 years and it is the most consistently good restaurant around. The wait staff is always friendly and professional, the food is always top notch, and the owners are the nicest most hard working folks you will ever meet.“

“Shanes has hit the mark again, Charles the Cook does an excellent job on the food. This is my 5th or 6th time eating there and the food has always been great. Emily and the other staff are always very happy to help us, and are always courteous kind. You can bet I'll be going back.“
