my parents used to bring me here since I was kid in the 80's and have been coming here often as an adult it's always good food and service it's nice to have a place with a history that's part of your personal history as well
Been eating at Joe’s from the beginning. Great food, super GREAT STAFF, and excellent service. Prices are very reasonable and fair. Joe was a very kind and generous man who truly loved his customers. Hats off to Carolyn and Julie!

Joe's Ice Cream Parlor is a popular spot that can get busy, especially during special events. The staff may seem overwhelmed at times, but they are generally friendly and try their best to provide good service. The menu features classic items like hot dogs and hamburgers, including a daily special that's a good value. Many customers have enjoyed their meals here, noting the quick diner food and vintage surroundings. While there have been reports of inconsistent quality, such as unusual chili ingredients in hot dogs or dishes being overcooked, the atmosphere remains welcoming.
Joe's Ice Cream Parlor is also a kid-friendly place, with booster seats and high chairs available. It's a favorite for families and couples alike, with some regulars visiting once a week for date nights. The peanut butter milkshakes are particularly highlighted as delicious and a must-try. The staff, made up of students to seniors, consistently receives praise for their fantastic service, often going out of their way to help customers. Overall, Joe's Ice Cream Parlor has its ups and downs, but it's a decent spot to grab a meal and enjoy a nostalgic treat, making it a local classic.
