Me and my family ate here yesterday for Father’s Day. Was not disappointed at all. Everything was so good. Even the kids liked everything that they got. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. We will be coming back soon.

Absolutely amazing is what this place is! Great service food is amazing!! 100 percent recommend this place for anybody to give a try!

We ate there for the first time tonight. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I had pulled pork and he had ribs and they were both very good. That BBQ sauce was made in Heaven. That's the best sauce I've ever tasted. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!

Man what a great meal. If you are a fan of great brisket, come on through. You won’t be disappointed. Service was fantastic as well. These guys are doing it right.

A few Sundays ago, we set out for some BBQ but quickly changed plans after realizing the place we originally picked was buffet-style (and neither of us are fans of that). That change of plans led us to Smitty’s Smokin’ Soulfood LLC, and let me tell you—we are SO glad it did! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect—the food, the service, the sweet tea, and even the music playing in the background. True soul food—good for the heart and the belly! We loved it so much that we went back with my MIL, and this time, we got to meet the owner. He was just as great as everything else about the place! So, if you’re looking for delicious, affordable food after church tomorrow, do yourself a favor and stop by Smitty’s—you won’t regret it!

EDIT: I apologize if there was any confusion during our conversation however, I did not state “ I wanted to feed my entire family” I was simply repeating what I was told by the owner, Alan, as he stated he’d “write in the book”. Fact check: entrees were not even discussed nonetheless was I questioned about it. Incompetence and defamation is a vice.

We catered food from Smittys for the first time and our order was incorrect. When we called to let them know, the employee brushed us off and showed no effort. The owner called us to apologize and offered a dine in experience for the inconvenience. After speaking to 2 employees, they had no record of this and were very dismissive. We tried to give Smittys a second chance. Customer retention is important…

The worst piece of brisket I have ever had in my life.

The food is bland bland bland and served luke warm.

There's not a single particle of seasoning on either of their meats (brisket and pulled pork). They're leaning solely on their sauces which were not at all to my taste (YMMV). Which is a shame because the moisture, texture, smoke on them was great.

Their pulled pork and brisket (2 meat combo plate) costs $24 (though I was charged $25) meanwhile their competition 2.5 miles away is charging $19 for the same menu item. That's 26% more (or 31% more if you're unlucky like me). I believe they also charge a CC processing fee but I can't find the receipt to confirm.

I actually liked the peach cobbler though. (My GF did not like it. Ironically she said it had too much spice. Maybe that's where ALL the spice budget for the meat went to?)

I have heard a lot of good things about this BBQ restaurant so I decided to try it . I was very disappointed. The cheese on the Mac was not melted. The brisket and the ribs were dry and had no flavor. I might try them again because maybe it was an off day or something but it was a major let down. 😢

Today we, a party of 10 drove in from Columbia to dine here! The service staff was absolutely the best. Patiently answered questions (and there were a lot) once we'd all gotten our orders, they checked on us and refilled regularly. I was looking forward to burnt ends, only to find they didn't have them. We all ordered different plates of course and quite frankly, we weren't very pleased with the food. All of the food was kind of bland and unseasoned. The smoked fried wings were doable but the two manners of preparation throw of the texture completely. The baked beans were decent and the ribs need to be cooked a little more.. I am not bashing by any means, just giving my honest opinion. It just may not be what we're used to.

I just want to thank you Allen for serving my daughter and her girlfriend on one of the worst days SC has had in a very long time. When she told me about it I immediately sent her a picture and she said yes Mom that’s him!! For you to open and serve people without power is an honest blessing! I told her You, I, and Ashley had all gone to school together, and I promise we will definitely be back when things clear up to show you our appreciation and gratitude! Thank you for holding their food while they went to get cash at Walgreens and treating them with kindness and respect! There have been so many rude people during this horrible time, and it’s nice to know that kindness and courtesy is still a thing! I can’t thank you enough! Her telling me made my heart smile!

I have been seeing great reviews in the Greenville Foodies and these guys did not disappoint! Brisket was so tender it melted in my mouth and the smoked Turkey was so good! Great service ( my special needs nephew was with me and my sister) and they rounded us up some “real silverware “ to use for him. A lot of food and reasonably priced. Good job you guys! Thank you.
